Misaki woke up the next morning in an empty bed. Noticing the piece of folded paper by the bedside table, she flipped it open to reveal Yuzuru's writing ,

Good morning. I had to leave but I didn't have the heart to wake you because you're probably still tired after everything. I'll be at the ice rink for practice today. Feel free to come by. -HY

Misaki couldn't help but smile at his note. His handwriting was neatly arranged, but it was as if it were written by a proper high school students with good grades.

"Well, he was that too in school, wasn't it?" Misaki said with a chuckle, recalling those times.

She got up and went to the shower to get herself ready for the day. She put on a blue dress and a white cardigan with light blue flower patterns sewed onto it. She let her long hair down and only pinned part of the back. To her eyes, she looked like a normal Japanese girl, nothing extraordinary at all.

I'd be safe like this, right? I'm sure not many people will recognise me. She thought.

She went to the kitchen and thought of preparing Yuzuru a healthy lunch so that he'll be able to train better. Taking out most of the ingredients in the fridge, she opened a cookbook that was on Yuzuru's kitchen island that had a ton of healthy meals that she began whipping up.

By the time she was finished, it was noon, and she placed the meals in several lunchboxes and put them all in a bag. She took the keys and before she walked out, she thought twice.

Even if I won't be recognised, I should be be careful. She began hesitating, and so she put on a white mask to cover most of her facial features.

Yuzuru, on the other hand, was thriving. He was landing all his jumps and executing his loops beautifully. Even his coaches and friends were impressed by the amount of energy he had despite possibly being crazy jet-lagged from a long flight.

"My, you're energetic today, Yuzuru." Javier commented, "Could it be because of a certain someone at home?" The man winked, and Yuzuru just turned away, laughing shyly.

"Alright, Yuzu. Take a break. You can freshen up. I think you've accomplished more than enough for today." Their coach, Brian, said, "Plus, you must still be jetlagged."

Yuzuru felt happy, knowing that he could go home early after six to seven hours of hard practice. He got out of the rink and went to the lockers to freshen up and get changed.

He didn't realise he could do so well when he was this focused. He was tired, sure. But the accomplishment of today gave him strength for tomorrow.

Once he got out of the showers and was fresh in clean clothes, hair still wet, he saw a certain someone walking in. A girl in a blue dress that wore a mask. She turned to look at him, and her eyes became crescents as she smiled at him behind the white disguise.

Taking off the mask, she showed her smile to him clearly, before going to him and greeting him with a hug.

"Misaki." He called her name, holding onto her tightly and she did the same.

"How was practice?" She asked.

"It was great. I just finished."

"Great. I made you lunch." She showed him the bag of food she had made, "I made a lot, because I didn't know what you liked. You could share them with your friends."

Yuzuru was happy to the point he blushed. Nobody had made so much besides his mother, and she was more specific on his meals since he was a picky eater. But Misaki ended up cooking the entire cookbook.
