The day came for when the class had their annual trip, and this year they had chosen the beach as their desired destination.
All the girls were bringing their sunscreen and every other sun-blocking device they could to avoid getting sunburnt, while the boys could only think of playing by the shore and swimming, not caring one bit about their skin being burnt.
As they waited for the others patiently on the bus, Misaki sat by the window, listening to music on her earphones, as the others were raging on the things they will be doing once they arrive to the beach.
As she looked out the window, she noticed someone familiar placing his bag into the trunk of the bus, and as he looked up and saw her, he waved with a smile, and so did she. As he stepped into the bus, people were offering him a seat, but then he looked at the empty seat beside her and asked, "Hey, Misaki, can I sit next to you?"
"Sure, Yuzuru." She said, as he took a seat beside her. Around ten minutes later, the bus was filled with students, and they began their trip.
Yuzuru looked at the girl who sat silently beside her, as she was listening to music blasting through her earphones.
"What song are you listening to?" He asked, and she turned to look at him and offered an earpiece.
It wasn't what he had expected at all. She wasn't listening to any kind of pop nor relaxing music.
She had One Ok Rock on full blast and he looked at her, surprised, as she gave him a small smile.
"It's a good song." He said, and he began listening to different types of music from her playlist as the trip went on for a few hours before the beach was anywhere in sight.

As they arrived at the beach, the students were checked into the hotel called Cosmos. Umi, Kiyoko, and Misaki shared a room with two of their underclassmen while Yuzuru, Tadashi, and Shoya shared a room with others of their grades.
"Alright, you have an hour to get yourself settled in and freshened up before a day at the beach and during the night, we will be having a bonfire ceremony by the resort. Don't be late!" The teacher in charge said. As they all made their way, Misaki followed Umi and Kiyoko to their hotel room.
Their room had a classically designed interior with white bedsheets covering the mattresses and white curtains that led to the balcony with an ocean view.
"Would you look at this room!" Misaki said with excitement, "You can see the ocean from here!"
"Misaki, what are you wearing to the beach?" Umi asked.
"A bikini, what else can I wear?" She said in an obvious tone. Her friends were surprised at how straight-forward she was.
"Well, lets not waste time! Lets put our swimsuits on and go to the beach!" Kiyoko said as they began getting ready together; filled with giggles and squeals.
As they were getting ready, they heard the door open and two petite girls were nervously standing by the door. They were hesitant to come in since they saw the three girls having fun together.
"I think we're sharing a room with you." The girl said in stutters, "Is it alright if we come in?"
"Of course!" Misaki welcomed them with opened arms as they came in, "What are your names?"
"I'm Ueno Yuki and she's Watanabe Haruka." The girl with brown hair said.
"Yuki-chan, Haruka-chan. It's nice to meet you!" Misaki greeted them, "I'm Akiyama Misaki, this is Umi and that's Kiyoko."
