Peyton POV:
After the National Championship victory we all flew back to UConn where there is a huge party happening tonight with all the students to congratulate the team on winning.
During the party a bunch of people are gonna walk up to the team and ask for pictures and autographs so I already know I won't be able to spend a lot of time with Paige but that's okay, I just want her to enjoy it.
Paige and I are currently getting ready for the party in her room right now. It's not like a fancy party so we both just wear casual clothes that go with our Black and White low dunk Air Jordan's.
"This party is gonna be chaotic but I promise I'll try to be with you as much as I can" Paige says as she finishes putting her shoes on and walks towards me
"I know don't worry. I'll probably be with kate and Tori so if you can't find me just call me" I say wrapping my arms around her waist
"Ok. If you need me you can call me too or come over to the team table where we have to sit and see if I'm over there" She says wrapping her arms around my neck
"Ok. Try to have fun. I know a lot of people are gonna be crowding around you but if you need a break make sure you take it." I say seriously
"I will. I'll try to stay near Nika, Christyn, or Evina. That way they can help me too"
"Ok good. Now are you ready to go?" I ask making eye contact with her
"No there's one more thing I gotta do first" she says looking back at me
"Wha-" I start before I'm interrupted by her leaning in and kissing me
"That" she says once we pull away smiling
"Am I allowed to kiss you at the party or are we keeping that private?" I ask
"I mean I kissed you in public after we won the national championship and everyone knows we're dating, so I don't see why we can't kiss at the party" she explains

Paige and I made it to the party. As soon as we walked in she immediately got swarmed by people asking for photos and autographs. We locked eyes and I squeezed her hand 3 times telling her I love her before leaving trying to find Kate and Tori in this chaos.
I eventually found them sitting down at a table right next to Paige's teams table which I was happy about, because that meant I would be able to see her if she ever gets overwhelmed by all the people.
Even though she won't admit it, I know she does get a little panicked by all the people always asking her for photos and autographs. Especially ever since that paparazzi incident at the airport. So I always try to keep an eye on her when I can so I can pull her away, if need be.
"Hey guys" I say sitting down at the table with Kate and Tori. I haven't seen them in about a week since I was away at all the March Madness games, so I'm glad I'm able to catch up with them now.
"Hey, how were the games?" Kate asked
"They were very stressful" I say laughing at the end "but it was really fun being able to witness what they accomplished" I add
"ARE WE GOING TO TALK ABOUT THAT WINK? BECAUSE I SAW THAT WINK. I THINK EVERYBODY DID!" Tori yells
Luckily the whole party is loud so no one really looks over at us to see what is going on and why Tori is screaming. But that's just her personality, she just screams when she's excited.
"What about the wink?" I say trying not to smile because honestly the wink she gave me after she almost fell but I caught her, was pretty hot.
"IT WAS SO HOT. THE WAY SHE LOOKED AT YOU BEFORE RUNNING OFF LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED. LIKE IT MADE ME FEEL SOMETHING AND IM NOT EVEN DATING HER" Tori screams
"Dude we're in public lower your voice" Kate says hitting the side of her arm making me laugh
"If anything she should be thanking me for catching her because if not she would have wiped out" I say as I see Paige walk to her team's table still surrounded by people but luckily Christyn is right behind her making sure she's okay.
"Speak of the devil" Tori says turning to look at Paige
"I can't imagine having the patience to take pictures and autographs for everyone. Especially when most of those people only care about her for her fame, not who she is" Kate says looking at Paige
"Yea I don't know how she does it either. She's a great person" I say watching Paige interact with everyone. We're also close enough that we can hear the conversations she's having with people and one girls comment sticks out to me.
"Paige! I went to every one of your home games and stood front row cheering you on!" This girl screams excitedly
"Thank you for the support" Paige says with a smile trying to be nice but I can tell she's starting to get a little uncomfortable
"I even screamed 'YOU DON'T GET TO TOUCH PAIGE BUECKERS LIKE THAT' whenever a team fouled you" the girl continues which I personally think sounds creepy
"That girl seems a bit obsessive" Kate says
"Yea, definitely a psycho fan" Tori comments
"I'm going over there" I say standing up
"Wait were coming with you" Kate says pulling Tori up with her as we head towards Paige.
She notices me walking towards her and I see a sense of relief in her eyes.
I put myself in between the crazy girl and Paige, and I'm literally on top of Paige by how close I am to her because the girl was super close to her.
"You wanna go get food?" I ask
"Yea, I'm starving" Paige says
We intertwine our hands and I start leading Paige the opposite way of the food and instead to the bathroom.
"Hey, that's not the way to the food!" The crazy girl says following us
"Hey, I love your shirt, where's you get it?" Kate says enthusiastically to the girl distracting her so Paige and I can get away from her
I mouth Kate and Tori a thank you before turning back around and heading to the bathroom.
Once we get to the bathroom I check all the stalls and see they are empty so then I lock the door before making my way back to Paige knowing that we are alone.
"You okay?" I ask wrapping my hands around her neck
"Yea" she breathes out "she was a lot" referencing that girl
"Yea she seemed crazy" I say
"I'm just glad you came when you did because she doesn't know how to respect someone's personal space" Paige says resting her forehead on mine and closing her eyes
"I told you I'd be here if you needed me" I say leaving in and connecting our lips which Is full of passion and love.
The only thing that makes us disconnect from each other is when Paige's stomach growls which makes me laugh.
"I told you I was hungry" Paige says laughing
"Let's go get you some food" I say chuckling
