Light of my life (1)

Ok.. Here, I am writing my next short story. Hope, you will like it ❤

A boy mid-20s sitting in a cafe. The long sleeves of his white shirt were unbuttoned. He has messily crimped it until his elbow. A file has placed on the empty chair near him. He looks totally frustrated about something. He has been waiting for his espresso past 5 minutes. He wanted to get relief from all his stresses through that expresso. Suddenly, a girl hits the waiter who was serving coffee. the coffee falls on his shirt

S: what the hell. Can't you walk carefully..
He shouted at the girl trying to wipe the coffee with his hands

A: sorry... Really sorry
That girl said looking at another side with a pitiful face

S: heey... To whom you are talking. I am here..
He said while snapping his finger at her

That girl turned immediately towards him
A: ooh.. I didn't know. I am blind. That's why
Her last words had faded gradually. She looks on the floor.

S: I.. Am so..sorry.. I didn't know.. That..
Guilty born inside him

A: it's ok. That often happens

S: hmm..

( the girl & boy is none other than shivaay& annika)

The day went like this. Shivaay has been trying to get a job for 8 months. Whenever he tries, there will be any reason to snatch his opportunity. Today also he has given an interview in a company. Unfortunately, he didn't get the job. It was the only reason that made him frustrated. He belongs to a middle-class family. A job is compulsory now while his dad's health getting worse day by day. As a heart patient, his dad can't work anymore. Shivaay wants to make him stand at the home being free from all stresses. He thinks that it's time to take his family's responsibility himself

Next day

Shivaay went to malhotra industry to give an interview. He parked his bike in the parking area and walks forwards. He saw a girl stumbling on the step. He rushed towards her and held her upper arm and pulls before she falls. It was the same girl whom he met yesterday in cafe. Unlike yesterday, he noticed how much beautiful she is, when he saw her too close. He admired her face for few seconds before makes her stand properly.

A: thank you
She said though her blind eyes couldn't recognise where he stands actually. Her pupil directed in a wrong direction

S: are you ok?
He asked with concern

A: hmm.. Fine.
(She continues after a break of 3 seconds) Your voice...why I feel like I have heard it before
She asked with a frown while trying to recall her memory

S: hmm.. The same guy who shouted at you in cafe, yesterday
He said with a grin while she chuckles

A: ooh..ok..Bye then
Let's meet again when destiny permits like this

He smiled at her. He didn't realise she can't witness it. Even he doesn't know when his lips curved to smile at her words. He was just lost somewhere. He finds something different in her. Something attracts him to her. His gaze was fixed on her until she disappears from his sight

He entered inside shrugging off his thoughts.

After a while

Shivaay came out of CEO's cabin looking all depressed. He ran his fingers through hair. He was 1/2 hour late for the interview. By mistake, he misunderstood the time. He tried to convince Mr.malhotra as much as he can. But nothing worked making him curse his miserable fate.
