"Hey, what did I miss?" I asked after joining their call
They looked shocked. Like they saw a ghost which is unlikely since ghosts don't exist.
"You should speak too, you know." I teased and chuckled when they still didn't respond
"Wait. Am I inaudible that's why you can't hear me?" I asked again
"Lavalee?" Chelsea called or well she's actually verifying if I'm real or just a product of their imagination.
"Yes?" I replied and smiled
"Fucking shit! Totoo ka?!" I chuckled after seeing Irene's reaction.
"What do you think?" I joked but they didn't reply making me chuckle
"Yes, I'm real. I'm not a product of your imaginations, girls." I said and smiled
"Don't smile at us like you didn't do anything." Irene said making me confused
"Did I? I don't remember." I said and acted confused while tilting my head
"You lied to us." Jess sulked at me which made me chuckle
"I didn't." I replied
"Yeah, you just didn't tell us anything." Irene scoffed
"So, what's up? I really want to catch up with you." I said and placed my elbow on the table and placed my head on my palm.
"What's up with you?" Chelsea asked
"You've been monitoring us, aren't you? So what's the point of asking us to tell you how everything went in our lives when you've been watching us?" Chelsea said
"I'm not." I disagreed and shook my head
Ah I really didn't watch them because I needed to focus on my studies.
"I wasn't able to observe you during my one month participation in the training camp." I said
"Jace was with you." Jess said and I sighed
"I had no choice." I replied and mentally shook my head when I thought 'or was it the other way around?'
"Kailan mo pa kami binabantayan kung ganon?" Irene said
"I am not watching you." I said
That's why I wasn't able to be informed about your love lives.
"How are we suppose to believe that?" Chelsea asked me seriously
"I don't know. It's just that I really didn't watch over you three." I answered
"You didn't but how sure can we be that you didn't hire someone to do that?" Jess asked
"Touche." I said chuckling making Jess roll her eyes
"Sabi na e. Tapos tatanungin mo pa kami kung anong mga nangyari samin? Ayos ka rin e, ano, cross checking?" Irene remarked which made me laugh
"I didn't hire anyone, but I asked someone to watch you three." I said truthfully
"Sabi na e." Irene said
"As expected of you, Lavalee." Jess said while shaking her head
"Asked? Not hired?" Chelsea asked
"Yep!" I said popping the 'p'
"But that was a wrong move because the information I receive are all damn filtered." I said and rolled my eyes
"Filtered?' Jess asked and I nodded
"How would you allow an employee of yours do such thing?" Irene asked
"That's the reason, he's not my employee, we're holding the same rank. I can't order him around but he can make me follow him." I said and the last part sounded like a whine
"Is it Frost? Oh hindi pala dahil mas mataas ang rank ni Frost." Irene speculated
"It can't be Fuego, you're older. Nor can it be Ares because Ares can't make you follow." Jess said
"Jace? Apart from Frost and your aunts and uncles, sa kanya ka lang nakikinig." Chelsea guessed and I sighed
"Apparently, Frost asked no wait tasked him to keep me under control. Like the freaking hell!" I said irritatedly
"That was a good idea." Jess said nonchalantly
"Nani?! Shinken ni?!" I exclaimed at them

"So, where is he?" Chelsea asked
"Don't ask about him." I said and shrugged my shoulders.
"Bother sharing what you've been through for the past month you were missing?" Irene asked and I sighed
