"Welcome to the studio, Ekt 40," DJ Tate greeted his voice smooth as silk. "How's it feel to be making waves in the game?"

Ekt flashed a grin, adjusting the mic. "Man, it's surreal. I've been grinding for the past few years, putting in the work, and now to see it pay off? it's a blessing for real."

DJ Tate nodded, tapping his pen against the table. "Your latest album 'From the Streets to the Stars', has been blowing up. What's the inspiration behind it?"

He leaned back, his eyes reflecting a mix of determination and passion. "Growing up in the hood, you see things. Experience shit. 'From the Streets to the Stars' is my journey, my story. It's about overcoming obstacles, chasing dreams and never forgetting where you come from."

The Dj nodded in understanding, "and the title track, it got everybody talking. what's the message you're trying to convey?"

He leaned forward, his intensity palpable. "The title track is about resilience. It's about rising above the struggle, despite the odds. It's a reminder to everyone out there, no matter what life throws your way, you can turn it into fuel for success."

DJ Tate nodded, impressed. "That's powerful, 40. Now, let's talk collaborations. You've worked with some heavy hitters on this album. How'd those come about?"

He grinned, scratching the back of his neck. "Man, working with a legend like Meek Mill? It's a dream come true. That collaboration came about through mutual respect. When artists vibe on the same frequency, magic happens in the studio."

As the interview continued, Qhamir spoke about the creative process behind his music, his journey from the streets to stardom, and his plans for the future. With each word, he painted a picture of resilience, passion, and dedication, leaving DJ Tate and listeners alike hanging on his every syllable.

As the interview wrapped up, Qhamir rose from his seat, exchanging the blunt with DJ Tate. The studio filled with the energy of their conversation, the air thick from the smoke.

"It was good choppin it up witchu', next time you in LA make sure you stop by." Tate said dapping him up before sitting back down.

"I gotchu fasho love broski." Qhamir said before he walked out the door heading on the elevator. He pressed the first floor as he got in then checked his phone to see he was being tagged on Instagram.

It was clips from the interview and fans reposting his album. He smiled when he saw Dess story 'So proud of you🩷, go stream 'FROM THE STREETS TO THE STARS' ho 🫵🏾!!"

He reposted it as he walked outside feeling the crisp air. As he walked to his car a black Escalade pulled in the parking lot.

Bullets began flying as he tried to grab his gun, seemingly getting hit in his shoulder and leg. The truck skirted off as he laid there bleeding out, vision blurring.
