Lilith's POV:
I rushed into the bathroom, shielding my face from Hui Jie. We were back in the hotel room.
"Oy, come on," Hui Jie sighed, prying the door open.
"Fuck off," I choked, "leave me alone."
"I thought I was the hurt one here," she joked nervously.
Then something snapped. I pushed her away, causing her to stumble back to the main room.
"You think this is funny, huh Huang Hui Jie?" I hissed, "I spent the whole day today, trying, again and again, to talk to you. Yet you continued to dismiss my efforts. Honestly, your victim mentality is so stupid, it's pathetic."
Her face fell, and suddenly, she was mad. Scary mad.
"Yeah, 'my victim mentality is stupid', says the racist bitch. I wonder who instilled this 'victim mentality' in me in the first place," she whispered, her eyes never leaving mine.
The room became so dense with tension, I felt like I was a sinking anchor.
"I thought you liked me, Lilith."
The gears in my mind stopped.
