I am exhausted from yesterday's fight with the alphas. I am also trying to ignore the pain of losing someone again. Me and Derek have gotten closer he has become like a big brother to me. Ignoring that pain I am currently on the school bus heading to a cross country meet.

Stiles: Yo, Scotty. Hey, yo, Scott

Me: Scott are you ok?

I asked him with worry laced in my words and he noticed my worried and assured me he was ok.

Scott: Yeah, sorry. Uh, what's the word?

Stiles: "Anachronism."

Scott: Something that exists out of its normal time.

Stiles: Nice. Okay, next word... "incongruous."

Scott: Um, can you use it in a sentence?

Stiles: Yes. Yes, I can. It's completely incongruous that we're sitting on a bus right now, on our way to some stupid cross-country meet after what just happened... incongruous.

Scott: Out of place, ridiculous, absurd.

Stiles: Perfect. Okay, next word. Um, Darach. Darach, it's a noun. We have to talk about it sometime, okay? And we're gonna be stuck in this thing for, like, five hours, so why not?

Me: Can we not talk about it?

Stiles: Fine... Next word... "Intransigent."

Scott: Stubborn, obstinate.

Scott winced

Stiles: Oh, buddy, you okay? We shouldn't have come. I knew it. We shouldn't have come.

Scott: We had to. There's safety in numbers.

Stiles: Yeah, well, there's also death in numbers, okay? It's called a massacre... or bloodbath, carnage, slaughter, butchery, wow, that's... all right,

I rolled my eyes at my cousin. I looked at Scott and he was in pain.

Stiles: Scott, I'm telling coach that...

Scott: No. No, no, no. I'm all right.

Stiles: Well, you don't look all right Would you just let me see it?

Scott: I'm okay.

Me: Scott... please let us see

Scott: Okay. Fine.

Scott lifted up his shirt for us to see the claw marks left by an alpha.

Stiles: Oh, dude...

Scott: I know it's bad, but it's because they're from an Alpha. It'll take longer to heal.

Stiles: How come Boyd and Isaac are fine then? Can you do anything to help Fai?

Me: I tried Sti, my magic didn't do anything. It's like something is blocking me from heading you.

Scott: I can't believe he's dead. I can't believe Derek's dead.

(Lydia and Allison)

Allison: Am I getting too close? I'm getting way too close, aren't I?

She asked Lydia

Lydia: That depends. Are you just following the bus, or are you planning on mounting it at some point?

Allison: Yeah, I should back off.

Lydia: Well, that also depends. Oh, do you mean the bus or the ex-boyfriend you're currently stalking?
