Rose p.o.v

The quick pitter-patter of my feet was heard through the hallways of Daddy's huge mansion. I ran towards daddy's office because I missed him. For a couple of days, he had stayed up there and I missed my cuddle time. I ran up the stairs and within no time I stood in front of the office.

I was so excited to see daddy again and getting his cuddles that I forgot to knock on his door. I slammed the door open and said, "Cuddles!"

Daddy groaned. Not good. "Princess, what did I tell you about entering Daddy's office?"

"I'm sorry Daddy! I really am, but I really want cuddles." I did not have time for talking, so I rushed my apology out.

"Rose, what did I tell you?" Daddy pressed. His eyebrows went up.

I lowered my head and mumbled, "To always knock as Daddy can have an important phone call or needs to concentrate."

"Indeed. So, what are you going to do next time?"

"To knock," I said in a low voice.

"Good, what was it you needed me for?" He asked, now not looking at me anymore, but at those stupid papers.

"Cuddles Daddy." I almost whimpered.

Daddy sighed. "I'm sorry baby girl, but Daddy has no time for you right now. How about tonight?"

"But you said that yesterday too," I whined.

"Rose, I really have no time right now-" Daddy was interrupted by the doorbell. For a short moment, I wondered who it could be. I do not think that Daddy had announced someone would stop by and he always did that.

"Stella!" Daddy yelled.

"I'm on my way sir," you could hear in the distance. "Thank you!" Daddy shouted back.

"Where was I? Right, I promise we have some us-time, but not right now. Daddy is very busy at the moment." A sigh was heard and again his attention was back on the papers. Stupid papers. If he had not the papers, I would have cuddles.

"But Daddy-" I could not finish my sentence as we heard someone knocking on Daddy's office door. "Derek?" It was a female voice, one that I was familiar with, miss Oliva.

"Oliva? W-why-why are you here?" Daddy asked. He looked like he was both surprised and panicked. Just like he caught me doing something I should not be doing.

"We agreed on getting a coffee together remember. Or did you forget?" Miss Olivia asked. She looked pretty today. She always looked pretty, but today she was extra pretty. She wore a very nice dress which looked perfect on her. Miss Oliva looked like a queen.

Then I looked at myself and in an instance I got jealous. I wanted to look like her, only my body was not as perfect as her. Today was the worst day ever! Daddy did not give cuddles and I do not look pretty like miss Olivia. I was pouting and had my arms crossed.

"No! Uh- yes..." said Daddy silently. "I'm so sorry. I got problems at work and because I own the company it's me who has the fix it. I know it's a lame excuse, but I really had no intention on forgetting or canceling our date... uh- appointment." Daddy's head got slightly red. If I was not in a sour mood I had giggled.

Miss Olivia too blushed. "It's alright Derek. Things like this can happen. We can reschedule if you are alright with that."

"I would not do that," I mumbled.

"Rose!" Daddy growled. He looked angry. I guess he understood what I meant by that.

Miss Olivia looked startled. "Derek, what's going on?"
