AIDEN'S POV

I sat in my office clicking my pen on the table in front of me. I was slowly getting pissed and frustrated.

What was taking them werewolves so long? I mean, it's just a lady.

Oh, sorry. I'm Aiden and I'm furious. I was on my own doing some shitty Alpha work, few days ago when I felt light-headed. It was a sickly sweet sensation on my skin and I knew it.
My mate.
She was nearby and I could feel her.
I sent some of my guys to track her and bring her but it's been a bloody fuckin' day and them niggas haven't returned.
I stood up and stomped out of my office to the room where I normally have meetings with my guests. I was about to start walking towards the door when it opened and in walked Julio and Jakob with a heart.
My eyes widened.
Oh no.

They had blood stains all over their bodies and they looked exhausted like they were healing.
I could perceive my mate's scent coming off of them.
"Care to explain what happened?", I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"W.. we found her", Jakob stuttered.
"Actually Kai found her first at a bar. She took him up to a room and tried to seduce him..."
What? But... she's my mate.
"...He refused. She tried to leave but he stopped her and she snapped his neck...with her bare hands"
"Huh? She isn't a human?", I asked.
"No. She's a witch. But still, witches only use magic to break necks, right? They can't use their bare hands. Okay and then we found her at another bar making out with some dude..."
Okay, this is just messed up.

"...We threatened to kill him and she threatened to kill our loved ones right after killing us. We were about to back off till Kai showed up and knocked the dude out. Now she didn't know what we were as she was expecting Kai to be dead. We didn't know she was a witch until Kai did what he did and got his heart torn out from his body. She bested the lot of us. She only pardoned I and Julio. But she snapped his neck and used her magic to forcefully start my transformation before snapping my neck. And she said to tell you that you shouldn't come after her or things ain't gon'end well "
I let out a huff.

"Aiden, she's powerful. And she doesn't recite spells"
I smirked.
"Don't worry, she can't hurt me"
"Can't or won't?", Julio asked.
"Both...I think? Gather more the men."
"What?!", the two guys looked at me with shocked expressions.
"Well, clearly she needs to taken down and I have the power to do it. We're going to get my mate"

It was night when we arrived at a bar. Why does she always have to be found at a bar?
I could feel her.
"She's here", Julio said. "I can smell her"
"She's inside. Upstairs. Probably in a bedroom "
I groaned. Only heaven knows what we might see.
We followed the scent into the bar, up the stairs and into a room. Some dude laid on the bed like he was waiting for someone. When he noticed us, he quickly used the bed covers to cover his naked body.
Creep.
"What in the bloody hell do you want?", he asked.
Humans.
"Where is she?", I asked. I could feel my wolf getting angry.
The door opened.
"I'm right here darling"
And my mate walked in.
