ONE

JENNA'S POV

"Hi. I'm Jenna. I'm a witch. Some humans might think it's awesome but I promise you it's not. Do you know what it means to possess mysterious powers that you dunno how to control?", I asked the guy sitting beside me.
Kai...I think. The bar was getting more crowded and I needed some space and a distraction. Something to take my mind off things. And to say that I was a little tipsy was an understatement.
"I think it's awesome ", Kai said.
I scoffed inwardly.

I stood up and pulled Kai by his shirt. I took him upstairs to a room. After locking, the door I pushed him on the bed and hastily began to undress.
The effects of the alcohol had already completely disappeared. I dunno whether it is because I'm a witch. Anyway, that's topic for another day.

"Wait, what are you doing?", Kai asked as he got to his feet.
I forced myself to not facepalm.
"Well, isn't it obvious? We're about to have sex.
Kai eyes widened. He held out his two hands.
"No,no, no. I can't. I'm not allowed to do that", he said.
I scoffed.
"What do you mean you're not allowed to have sex? Are you like.. 10?", I asked him.
"No. I can have sex with anyone just not you"
I sighed and picked up my polo to wear.
"Well then, I guess I'm just gonna find some other dude to distract me", I said as I walked towards the door but he pulled me back.
I gave him a confused look.

"I can't let you leave either. You're gonna follow me. Alpha's order"
"And what's that supposed to mean? Whatever. Tell your alpha that I dunno nor do I care about his orders and I belong to no one. So if you would please release my hand. I don't want things to go unpleasant here", I said already getting pissed.
Bad things tend to happen when I get pushed over the edge. I've ended up burning whole cities by mistake due to my anger issues.
"Sorry, I can't",Kai said. "And I don't wanna have to hurt you".

I heaved a sigh and moved closer to him. I placed my two hands on either sides of his face.
"On the contrary darling..."

Snap.

I snapped his neck and he fell unconscious. I chuckled as I left the room.
I didn't think I would have to kill someone so soon.
Well, as they say, hard times call for desperate measures...I think.
I needed to leave the bar. Whoever that dude was, I'm sure he had some followers. And I knew they would come for my head seeing that I killed one of their own.
So I did what I do best. I ran.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

The guys followed his scent into the room and found Kai lying unconscious on the ground. He appeared to have a broken neck.
It had been an hour since they tried to reach him.
Julio bent over to touch him but he (Kai) gasped as he regained consciousness. He quickly looked around before his eyes landed on the guys.
"She sure did a number on you", Julio chuckled.
Kai scoffed.
"She just took me by surprise"
"But how was she able to break your neck? I mean no human can do that easily with his or her bare hands", Jakob said.
"I don't think she's human, bro. But she's not a vampire or a werewolf. Definitely not a Shade either. And if she was a witch, she would've known I'm a werewolf right?", Kai said before he remembered.
"Oh. She told me that she was a witch. I don't know how true it is since she said it when she was drunk", he added.
"Well, people tend to tell the truth when they're drunk", Julio said.
"Yeah but then witches only snap necks with their magic not with bare hands", Kai said.
"I don't care okay. Just call Alpha and explain. I've got a mate waiting for me at home", Jakob said.
