THE CONTRACT ARRANGEMENT

CHAPTER 9

Danna's POV

The drive to the Mondragon's was a quiet and peaceful one, on the inside I was feeling very nervous. I had never in a million years thought that I Danna Rodriguez would sit down and have dinner with the Mondragon's.

In two weeks I'll be Mrs Aron Mondragon,but only on paper my number one rule I made to myself when going into this is to not fall inlove or become to attached because after two years I'll be leaving.

Looking at the engagement ring on my left finger that Aron gave me this morning at work safe to say it was gorgeous. It had a huge diamond on the middle that screamed luxury,I wasn't a huge fan of diamonds but I just couldn't stop admiring this beauty on my finger it was so excusite.

An hour later Adam told me that we have arrived so I did what Aron told me to do yesterday when we arrive which was to wait for him in the car and he will come and get me.

While waiting for Aron,I stared out the window and the sight infront of me made my jaw drop.

What a house!!

More like what a mansion it was so beautiful, the water fountain in the middle of the yard made the whole place bright. This was the first time I ever saw the Mondragon's mansion, not even the internet had a glimpse of the Mondragon's mansion come to think of it this family's privacy is everything to them.

The knock on the window stopped me from admiring the view turning around I already knew who it was he opened the door and held his hand out for me "What a gentleman" I thought to myself.

I was shocked to see him wearing a suit I thought he was going to go with casual, but I understood that maybe he wanted us both to look formal I wore a blue off shoulder dress that was elegant, I pared it with my sliver pencil heels and some beautiful earrings that weren't to expensive. I felt so elegant oh I forgot to mention my purse that matched my dress.

"You look quite beautiful Miss Rodriguez" he said

"Thank you sir and you don't look bad yourself" I said to him

Catching me off guard he came closer to my ear I could feel his breath hit my neck and finally he spoke "Oh and remember one thing Rodriguez infront of my family I'm Aron to you not sir" he said with a husky voice a voice that would woman kneel before him

Composing ourselves properly he held my hand and walked towards the entrance hand in hand as we were reaching closer I could hear voices people laughing and talking my breath hitched when I felt his hand on my waist and he pulled me closer.

Entering the living room together the room immediately went silent one could even hear a pin drop all eyes were on us and that's when Aron finally decided to speak.

"Mom,Dad I want you both to meet your soon to be daughter in-law my fiancee Danna and were are getting married in two weeks" he said with a sweet tone which I'm sure was for his parent's

Mrs Jennifer was shocked, but soon that shock turned into happiness she walked up to me and nearly hugged the life out of me so as Mr Elias

"Oh my good Aron and to think a few days ago you told me you aren't seeing anyone I was so sad,little did I know you had such a beautiful surprise for me,thank you son thank you for making my night I'm so proud of you" his mom said hugging him while crying it was definitely tears of happiness

"I'm proud of you son you choose well" his dad said proudly you can even see it in his eyes

"Wow bro and I thought you'd grow old alone congratulations and Danna welcome to the family you are now of us" Aidan said hugging the both of us even though he knew it was a contract he congratulated us like the rest and looked very happy

"Yay I'm so happy that I'm finally gonna have a sister welcome to the family Danna and I always had this thing inside of me that said you and Aron would make a beautiful couple one day I guess I was right" Emily said

"Damn bro you sure do know how to keep a secret I literally didn't see this one coming, but nevertheless I'm happy for you and Danna" Ivan said with a genuine smile

"Come on sweetie I want you to sit next to me I'm just so happy right now" Mrs Jennifer said holding my hand as we made our way to the dinning room for dinner

Everything was so beautiful, there were candles the table was beautifully set even the lights in the room just made it shine so beautifully.

Sitting next to Mrs Jennifer, Aron too came and sat next to me. The Mondragon's were a beautiful family so sweet,kind, humble and down to earth. It's true when they say money doesn't buy you respect you are born with it.

"So sweetie tell us everything I wanna know every detail of how you guys meet and fell inlove" Aron's mom said

"Really mom it hasn't even been fifteen minutes and you already bombering my fiancee with questions she will only answer only two" Aron said coming to my rescue

"Seems like someone is being over protective hmm" Ivan said with a smirk

"Shut up Ivan as if you aren't when it comes to Emily" Aron said making me laugh

"Now the only one who's left is Aidan" Mr Elias said Aidan gave his dad a look that screamed really did you did not just say that

"Don't give me that look son you not getting any younger you will be turning 30 soon you need to find yourself a woman who's like Danna and your sister a good woman" Mr Elias said making Aidan groan

The arrival of the food grabbed our attention and soon we started digging in,but I know I still had to answer Mrs Jennifer and I will after I'm done eating.

The food was so delicious who ever cooked deserved a round of applause.
