So it's been like a whole year! But that's okay, because I spent a lot of time thinking about this book and where to go with it! So yeah! I hope you guys are enjoying it!

The bars of the cage were bright orange, being so hot that flesh would boil when touched. The loud flapping of wings filled the dark space, the only other thing joining being loud, exhausted, heavy breathing. A hand reached up and grabbed one of the bars, another doing the same as the person pulled themselves up. The loud hiss of the contact soon mixed with the echoing sounds and a low grunt was thrown in.
The person in the cage opened their eyes. The soft brown hues soon changed. Fiery orange lookers saw the dark space clearly. The person shook the bars of the cage, groaning. A large bird flew past the cage, flying up to the ceiling.
And in sync, they screamed.
