Recap: Shinji opens his blue eyes and scans around the room, smiling when he sees that we're decent. "Great! Now Haru we really need to hurry up, I got someone who could help and I gave them a very specific location far away from here. We need to get there before them! "

I arch a brow at my seemingly satisfied brother "Who?"

Shinji shrugs and smirks "I like the element of surprise, now let's go!"

I sigh as I lean my head down on Shinji's shoulder, he's been carrying me for the last two hours since we left Orochimaru's base and I'm starting to get frustrated with all this mindless walking.

At first I thought we were walking around in circles, but now I realize we've just been going through some very intricate parts of this forest.

"Can I at least know where we're going?!" I ask, hating the fact that I can't just walk on my own. "Relax we are almost there." Shinji responds, Isamu nodding in agreement. I sigh and lean my head back down on his shoulder. "So what happened with you and lover boy when Isamu and I left to give you guys space?" Shinji asks, glancing back at me only to catch me roll my eyes at his question.

"Nothing you'd be excited about." I blandly respond to which Shinji pouts. "C'mon just tell me what happened! I'm in the mood for some pointless drama that would have no affect on my life whatsoever!" He pleads.

I sigh and look down to the ground as I remember what happened back at Orochimaru's base.

••Flashback (third person POV)••

Shinji shrugs and smirks "I like the element of surprise, now let's go!"

Haru stares at her older brother as if he's gone insane. "Shinji I can't walk. . . Remember?" Said Oshiro smirks as he walks out of the room "I'll leave you two to yourselves for a moment." He closes the door leaving the two teens in silence before slamming the door open again.

"Isamu come along with me, it's awkward if you stay here!" Shinji whisper yells, his head poking out of the door. Isamu rolled his eyes as he complies with the Oshiro. "Fine but I'm staying by the door, this is quality entertainment." He mutters as he walks out into the hallway, Shinji shutting the door behind them.

Haru sweat drops as the door finally closes again "Idiots." She whispers under her breath, her eyes snapping over to Sasuke who's now leaning against a wall. "So what are you going to do now?" She asks, eyes narrowing as Sasuke stares directly at her.

"I'm going to continue on my journey." He states to which Haru arches a brow "Killing Itachi." He darkly mutters. Haru tenses up her shoulders only the slightest bit "Right. . ." She quietly responds, her eyes switching to her lap where her motionless hands lay.

"What about you?" He asks, genuinely intrigued with her response. The thought ran through his head a couple of times, now that Haru was out of the leaf what would she do?

"Well right now I'm just hoping I could ever walk again." She sighs, frowning at her very possible future. If she couldn't be a ninja, what would she be? Worthless. She wouldn't be able to get her revenge on Danzo. She wouldn't be able to defend herself. She wouldn't be able to do much of anything.

"I'm sure you'll overcome this." Sasuke reassures, cooly pushing himself off of the wall to sit down next to Haru.

The Senju lowers her head, her snow white hair falling and covering her face. "How could you be so sure?" She asks, her tone drastically changing from confident and stoic to soft spoken.
