Scarlet's POV
"EMBRY" I squeal before jumping on him, pulling him into a massive bear hug. Squeezing tight before letting go completely. "What are you doing here?" I questioned with a grin "Can't a guy just surprise his best friend without getting the third degree" he replays back joking, I couldn't help but giggle. "Well it is you, you tend to want something, for you to physically come down to see me" I reply back in the same fashion. Laughing he just grabs me in another hug "I just miss you that's all, feels like I finally got you back" he said earnestly. I couldn't stop the sad smile coming to my face "You'll never lose me, no matter where I am" I couldn't help but say with a laugh"Or how tall you get.. You'll always be my little bry remember" I say softly looking up at him, remembering the promise we made when we were little 'no matter what happens in life, we will always stick together as best friends' we both think at the same time smiling at each other just knowing they shared the same thought. "Always Scar, Always" Embry says emotionally with a slight relieved smiles.
The Cullen's POV
Looking in Scarlets direction when we smelt a wolf, we couldn't help but tense seeing how close and friendly was towards one of them. Rose looked at Jasper and sent a meaningful look towards him, he replied with a small nod to keep an eye on Scarlet to make sure she is safe. The two Hales started towards scarlet before the rest of the Cullen could try and stop them.
Edward's POV
I couldn't hold in a growl when I saw how close HIS Scarlet was towards Embry...Wait... that thought pulled him up short since when has Scarlet been or ever has been his 'What's wrong with me, I'm with Bella. I love Bella..Right' I think to myself but even to my own thoughts I didn't sound convincing 'I've only just met Scarlet, how can I feel such a claim over her' I couldn't stop myself from looking back at her delicate form clinging to the wolf. 'God I've missed Scar' I hear Embry's thought and couldn't keep a little smile coming...
