Scarlet's POV

Sitting down I make sure that I couldn't catch anyone's eye feeling ashamed that yet again Bella has been able to trick me. 'What have I done wrong' I think sadly. Just wishing someone could hear me. From the corner of my eye I see Rosalie sit down next to me. "Scarlet look at me please" Rosalie asked gently. Reluctantly I look over expecting to see a cruel smirk but only ended up seeing a gentle almost sad smile on her beautiful face.

Rosalie's POV

"There you go.. I don't know what Bella" I couldn't help but spit out her name "has done to you in the past, but I would just like to say that no matter what me and my family won't ever treat you like that. I know it may seem strange, I certainly feel it but theirs something about you that just makes me want to protect you like a sister. Is that wrong" I asked trying to let Scarlet that I have no ill feelings towards her or against her especially because of BELLA. 'As if I could even care a fraction towards that girl' I think inwardly smirking see that Edward didn't react that way he usually would. "You see me as a sister??" Scarlet asked confused "b-but you only just met me, how can you feel that way already. Not that I'm not grateful, I'm actually honoured you feel that way and oh gosh I'm rambling. I'm sorry" Scarlet rushed out seeming almost scared that I'll just leave her alone. "Hey, hey calm down Scar, just take a deep breath" I tell her calmly. Scarlet breaths in deep and slowly lets it out. "Feeling better" I asked cheekily, Scarlet gives me a small nod and a little giggle. I couldn't help but grin. "Sorry about that, I kinda get ahead of myself sometimes which then ends up with me working myself up over nothing" she's say sheepishly will a little blush. I freeze not knowing how I'll handle being up close to a human when they blush, normally staying as far away as I can to the other humans. I tentatively sniff not being able to help myself I groan 'woah, wasn't expecting that' I look at my table to see Edward staring at me looking confused "What weren't you expecting?" he questioned me quietly, so quiet, that Bella, practically draped over him couldn't even hear him. I look back at scarlet and smile gently at her while thinking back to Edward 'Scarlet she smells divine but it's like she calms my thirst. How can that be?' From the corner of my eye I could see Edward telling the others what I thought.

The Cullen's POV

We slowly look back at where Rosalie and Scarlet are sitting and discreetly take a sniff. Immediately everyone's mouth started to fill with venom from the heavenly smell, however none of them felt the urge to bite. In fact, all they can smell is her and no one else in the room. Edward couldn't even smell Bella anymore and that was the thing that drew him to her. Looking round at when we heard a gasp, we turned to see Jasper was staring at Scarlet but...without the hunger in his eyes... but shock.

Edward's POV

'I can't believe it!" went through Jaspers mind in an almost whisper. I looked over at him, wondering what's got him so shocked. He must of felt my curiosity, because he turned back round to face me, his eyes wider than usual "You alright their Jasper" Alice asked a bit worried for her husband, never seeing him react that way before towards a human. It took awhile for Jasper to reply since his eyes kept getting drawn to where scarlet was sitting. "I-I know her" Jasper whispered words felt like a shout towards the rest of us.
