AMARA'S POV.
3 years later.
"Rosie can you come here?" I asked.
"Yes Mommy"
"Can you help Atticus, wear his shirt?"
"Sure mommy"
She ran to the room where Atticus was laying on the ground.
"Mommmy!" I heard Atticus scream.
"What's wrong" I came running into the with the knife in my hand.
"Nothing" he screamed back
"Come on, it's your first day of school! Stop being naughty. Your bus will be here soon"
"I don't want to go to school" Rosie whined.
"Did you say something Rosie? Huh? I can't hear you."
"I SAID I DON'T WANNA SCHOOL" she screamed
"ATTICUS. DID ROSIE SAY SOMETHING?"
He laughed. "Mumma, she said she doesn't want to go to school cause she's not nice"
"Who said I'm not nice? Your not nice! Your a horrible boy" Rosie said.
Atticus widened his eyes "mumma she just said a bad word, punish her!"
I shook my head in disappointment.
"No cookies for a week"
It was Rosie's time to widen her eyes "Mama! No! I need cookies to survive" she said dramatically as she put her hand on her forehead.
"No negotitions" I said and left when I heard Atticus say "I'll give you half of my cookie" and then Rosie mumbled a thanks.
These little things completed me.

After the kids left for school, I walked to the hospital where I was a nurse.
"Hello Amara! How are you?" The doctor who I worked with Dr.Peterson asked
"I'm good Dr, how're you and kids?"
"There all good" he replied.
Jake Peterson and his wife had got a divorce 6 months back. So every week his kids came over for the weekend.
"So what's today's plan" he asked me.
"There's a check up for some previous patients, and we have nothing else so the Manager asked us to be in the emergency ward since some doctors aren't coming"
"Everything's perfect with you nurse " he replied.
He always tried to act so cool in front of me it was embarrassing. He had asked me out for dates a couple of times now, I knew for a fact he wanted me just to take care of his bratty
children, and there was no was I was going to fall in his trap. I'd my own pair to look after.
We both waked to the children's ward.
After checking on the children we both went to the cafeteria for some lunch.

"WE HAVE A 9 month pregnant lady needed for immediate attention right now! I repeat right now"
We ran in to the room, there lay a lady with the most beautiful face full of pain.
"Please help me" she screamed
"We need you to calm down"

"We need you to push after 10 seconds
1..2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9..10 push"

A shrill cried was heard soon.

I walked out of the room, the babies blood was still on my shirt and on my neck driving me nuts. But I still had to get the official papers signed and get the other formalities done so I continued walking into the waiting room.
"Any guests for Miss Summers?"
"Yes"
An old lady walked towards me.
"Okay please follow me"
We walked towards the delivery room where the new mother lay.
"Oh, I was so worried" she said
I still had to change my clothes, "um, is the father going to arrive soon?" I asked hastily.
"Oh he's going to be here in just 5 minutes"
"Okay"
"He's outside can you get him."
"Sure"
I walked towards the entrance, "is there any guest for Miss Summers?" I announced again
"Here"
My eyes widened at who I saw
"Cristiano"
