"You'll be happy to hear Kattnis' mother had been training new medical units in the capitol, Gale has been promoted to a capitol in district 2 to keep order and security, and I am loving every moment with my son who reminds me everyday of his father. We've all suffered so much. But we owe it to their memories and our children to do our best with these lives. I hope you both finding some peace. Annie" Flynn reads the letter she sent
Then he comes over to show me the picture of her and her son
"He looks just like Finnick" I smile

"I solemnly swear to the best of my ability to serve, protect, and to uphold the rights of every citizen of Panem." We watch as Paylor gets named president of Panem
Flynn and I sit at the door watching the rain fall so peacefully. I look over at him with a smile on my face before turning my attention back to the rain.

"From this day forward in sickness and in health for richer or poorer, I promise to love and cherish you each day." I smile looking up at Flynn
"And I Flynn Dawson take you Evelyn Lily as my wife from this day forward. Together or apart we will always be united. One life, one purpose, one destiny." Flynn smiles
"You may kiss the bride" Haymitch tells him
Flynn smiles at him before looking back at me
"You and I" he says
"You and I" I smile back before he pulls me into a deep kiss, dipping me backyards holding the kiss.

I smile as we both apart hearing the crowd cheer and clap for us.
I look over at Kattnis who had a big smile and her face.
At Johanna who looked as happy as I've ever seen her.
At Peeta who looked like a proud brother.

I looked around at all the people in my life who supported me, stood by my side, protected me with their life. All of them, here, celebrating a new beginning of life, of my life.

I no longer heard the sound of cries, or screams, or war.

I heard the sound of laughter, joy, and of love.
And I'll hold onto that until the day I take my last breath. I survived, now it's finally time for me to live.
