"My brother knows these tunnels really well" homes says as he gets down the ladder "He worked sanitation down here. Right after they made him an avis" he adds

Look at me, look at me" Homes says walking up to Pollux who was breathing heavy "We're gonna get through this, I promise" he tells him Pollux starts to walk forward and Kattnis and I step up next to homes "It took us five years to buy his way out of here. Kattnis and I walk in front with the holo when we hear a train. We all take off running behind a wall to hide. Once to train passes Kattnis and I look around the corner to make sure nothing else was coming "We're to exposed here" Kattnis tells Pollux He nods then mentions for us to follow him as he takes off running. He leads us down a few door ways before down another ladder.
We walk through this big ally way when Pollux mentions for me to check it. I lift the holo but it doesn't beep "Looks clear" I nod then we start walking again We make in into a smaller ally way when we all quickly duck when we hear a noise go off but it was only the air pressure. "Everybody ok?" Jackson asks "Yeah" Kattnis nods
We walk through water that was up to our chest as I lead the way with the holo. "Alright everybody we're going stop here and get some rest. I'll take first watch" jackson tells us as Kattnis and I walk into this platform. "Peeta Flynn just tuck in there" Finnick tells them "Alright settle in everybody" jackson tells us
I look over at Flynn before laying my head back falling asleep quickly. "Evelyn. Your watch" jackson says tapping me awake I stand up and make my way to the entrance. I take my seat which was right in front of Flynn
I look out of the entrance to check when Flynn speaks up "You know the Capitol, they used trackerjacker venom on me. Thats what the doctors on 13 said. You knew about trackerjacker venom before the games, and made sure to tell me so I knew. Real or not real?" He asks "Real" I nod "When-when they used the venom on me they would show me pictures of my life, but some weren't real. They changed them. At first they all blurred together but now I can spread them out a little, like the-the ones that they changed they have this quality it's like there- there shiny, glossed over." He tells me "You should get some rest" I tell him "You're still trying to protect me. Real or not real?" he asks I look at him with my own tears trying to form "Real. Thats what you and I do. It's what we've always done. Keep each other alive." I tell him
I hear a noise and quickly turn my head that way. I grab the holo keeping my eyes on the entrance. I slowly stand up using my flashlight to look out into the tunnel. I walk out and look down both ways. Then I hear something again. I turn my flashlight to look but nothings there. "Evelyn.... Evelyn.... Evelyn" I can hear something whispering Flynn jerks awake as a few other people stir "Evelyn?" He asks but I just keep my eyes on the tunnel Slowly people start to wake up hearing the noise "What is that?" Jackson asks "We gotta go we gotta get out of here now. They're going to release mutts." Flynn says standing up. Everyone quickly grabs there things getting up "Pollux what's the fastest way out of here?" I ask as he comes down "Come on! Go! Go!" Jackson hurry's everyone
Gale fires an arrow to light up the tunnel as we all start to walk. Gale fires another one as we keep walking down the tunnel not knowing where they were.
Pollux climbs through a hole and tells us he'll look to see if it's clear. I hold my breath as I wait for him to come back. He comes into my view and tells us to come. One by one we all start to climb through. Jackson turns to climb in being the last one. But as soon as she turns she stops. She turns back and the mutts jump at her, immediately killing her
I shoot one of my exploding arrows and go flying back. "Go go go go!!" Homes yells as Kattnis help me up "Pollux get us out of here!!" Homes yells
We all start to sprint as someone else gets pulled down "Castor!!" Gale yells but there was nothing we could do Cressida and Finnick start to shoot at them as Kattnis fires an explosive arrow like I did. "Fall back move!" Gale yells again
We keep running and we make it to a ladder, pollux points for us to go up so u turn and shoot another arrow quickly. We all start to shoot and fire at them as they make there way towards us. Kattnis and I keep shooting the exploding arrow slowly them down.
I get pushed against the wall by one and hold it back with my hand. But it starts to turn its head back to me until Flynn jumps on it. He starts to fight it as another jumps on my back, I try to get it off of me but it throws me at the railing. I quickly gasp up for air and see a mutt on Flynn I jump up and grab my knife tabling it off of him and killing it "Evelyn!" Flynn yells as he gets drag back by another one I run towards him until one jumps in front of me, it was about to kill ne until Finnick comes and stabs it with his trident.
"Go go!! Go go!!" Cressida yells as she runs up shooting more Finnick kills a few more before yelling at me "Go go go!!" He yells helping me up I make it to the ladder when I hear Finnick yell again "Evelyn!!" He yells and I turn to see him throw his trident hitting the mutt behind me
I make it to the top and turn around not seeing Finnick "Finnick!" I yell and look back down the ladder He starts to climb up but one of them jumps and grabs him "Finnick!!!!!" I scream reaching for his arm but it was to late, I watch him fall and as all of the mutts jump on top of him "Finnick!!!! Finnick no!!!" I scream as I hear him yelling in pain "Evelyn!!" He screams but I couldn't do anything. "Nightlick nightlock nightlock" I mumble and drop the holo It explodes and all of the screams stop. I let out a cry as Kattnis grabs my arm "Keep moving keep moving!!" Gale yells at all of us
We make it out only to be met with peacekeepers, they start to shoot at us as we fire back. We all start to run again when a light shines and turns one of the soldiers to ash Cressida stares in fear as I grab her arm "Keep going! Keep going!" I yell as we all take off running trying to avoid the lights
I look behind me hearing a noise when I see the ground was breaking. We all sprint and Flynn and I jump at the end barely making it. I jump and start to run again "Flynn come on!" I yell but I turn to see he didn't get up "Flynn come on we have to keep going!" I yell as I run back over to him "I can't!" He yells "Yes you can! Look at me!" I yell "Let go of me!" He yells "Look at me!" I yell grabbing his face
"Stay with me. You and I" I tell him putting my head in his head "You and I" he says back not breaking eye contact "Come on" I tell him as we stand up and start running again "I know where we are. I know a place it's up the stairs come on" Cressida tells us
As we run up I see a 'wanted' sign with finnicks face on it, I quickly try and shake off the feeling and keep running until we're safe. We get up to a door and Cressida quickly knocks on it "Someone's coming" Peeta says The lady opens the door and Cressida runs in "Shut the door shut the door" she says Kattnis raises her bow at the lady but Cressida speaks up "No Kattnis it's ok it's ok" she says making her lower her bow "Tigris do you remember me? I'm with Plutarch underground, we need your help" Cressida says The lady just lowers her head and walks off as we follow
She moves a rug off the ground and opens a latch "I know you" I tell her "You were a stylist in the games" I say She moves the hood off of her head before speaking up "Into snow decided I wasn't pretty enough anymore." She tells me "We're here to kill him" I tell her and she just smiles in response
