Kattnis and I make our way down to the hanger in all black clothes and bag. We hid behind some bombs as we watch two people walk out of the hover craft. We quickly run in as the door starts to close. As soon as we sit down we feel the plane take off.
Once we fell the plane land Kattnis looks around the box to see who was there. We both take a deep breath before walking out. We walk with our heads down trying not to draw attention. But that didn't last very long. Two guys walked past us and immediately knew who we were. We hear the mumble 'hey that's them' as we keep walking More and more people started to stare and point at us "That's Kattnis Everdeen and Evelyn Lily" we hear people say
I look up to see people were circled around us "Kattnis" I mumble making her stop We both start to look around at the people as they start to raise three fingers in the air
Gale comes up to us and starts to talk to Kattnis as I keep looking at the crowd. Kids, woman, men every age ready to fight for something I started. To end Snow. Kattnis and I start to pack our bags with food and water as Gale walks up. He sits down in front of Kattnis so I just turn my body some to give them somewhat of privacy. "Looks like you got your meals covered" he says and I couldn't help but role my eyes. "Trying to be prepared" she tells him "Don't lie to me. We've been hunting together all our lives. I know when you're going to go off on your own..... you gonna leave me behind too? " he tells her "As your fellow soldier, I suggest that you stay with your unit. But I couldn't stop you if you wanted to come" she tells him "Hawthorne, Everdeen, Lily. Come meet your new unit" she tells us
"I'm lieutenant Jackson, and I want to introduce you to your quad. This is second lieutenant Michelle, best sharpshooter in Panem. These are the leggs sisters, first combat devision. And this is corporal homes" she induces us "Finnick?" I say walking past everyone "Are you with us?" I ask him "Looks like it" he smiles "That was a short honeymoon" I laugh giving him a hug "Yeah well, I guess we're gonna have to have one in the Capitol." He smiles then gives Kattnis a hug "After we take it of course" he smiles "Gather around" Boggs says "Squad 451, you're my unit. Lieutenant jackson is my second in command. Each one of you is elite form of some combat. But we are a non-combat unit. So we'll be following days behind the front line troops" Boggs says "You're to be the on screen faces of the invasion. We cannot move without this device. There's no guarantee that our data base is complete, there could be new pods we're not aware of. Because we don't want the game makers to know we have this intel. It has a self destruct on it, you flip this switch, say night lock three times and it blows itself and anything with in a 10 foot radius. Stay within our unit. Even with the holo, it's likely new pods have been set. Whatever they contain they are meant to kill you." Boggs says Finnick steps over towards Kattnis and I before whispering "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 76th hunger games" he says
