In the echo of crowded rooms,
I wander, a specter unseen,
Words slipping through me like mist,
Unheard, unnoticed, unheeded.
I am the ghost among the living,
A shadow cast upon the wall,
InvIsible threads tether me to this realm,
I drift, unacknowledged, unfelt.
I whisper truths into the void,
Only to watch them dissolve,
Lost in the cacophony of indifference,
Ignored, dismissed, denied.
They pass through me like smoke,
Their eyes glancing, but not seeing,
Their ears hearing, but not listening,
I am a cipher in their consciousness.
And when they claim ignorance,
I am left to haunt the silence,
A phantom of forgotten words,
Alone, unseen, unremembered.
