Emery presses her lips to my cheek.

"I'm going to miss you," I interlock my fingers with hers.

"Me too," she whispers.

I close my eyes and start falling asleep.

My eyes flutter open when I hear Emery's voice coming from the other room.

I hear her arguing with someone, but I'm not awake enough to tell who it is.

I rub my eyes and quickly try to get out of bed. I open the door and walk down the hallway.

Emery is glaring at Devyn and he just laughs.

"Hi, love," Emery wraps her arms around my waist when she sees me. I kiss the top of her head.

"You ready to go?" Devyn asks.

"No," I cup the back of her neck.

"Grayson, we need to go to the airport," he says.

"Can she go with me?" I look back at him.

"She can drop us off. How about that?" He sighs.

"Oh, come on. You say yes to him and no to me?" Emery pouts.

Devyn shakes his head and walks into his bedroom.

I lift Emery off the ground and she wraps her legs around my waist.

"Put your stuff in the car, Grayson," Devyn shouts from his room. "We need to go."

I carry Emery to the car and set her down in the backseat.

"Where are you going?" She grabs my wrist.

"To grab my duffel bag," I kiss her hand and quickly run to grab my bag. I sit down in the seat next to her and she rests her head on my chest.

"I got you something," she smiles up at me.

"You didn't need to get me anything," I kiss her head.

"I know," she bites her lip. "But I wanted to."

She reaches into her pocket and pulls out a red and blue braided bracelet.

"Where'd you get this at, pretty girl?" I murmur as I slip it onto my wrist.

"I didn't—I made it," she wrings her hands and her cheeks turn pink.

"Why are you embarrassed, baby?" I pull her onto my lap. "It's beautiful. I'll wear it for the rest of my life."

She grins and kisses me.

I pull her closer to me and she fists her hands in my hair.

I bite her lip and she smiles.

Her tongue roams between my lips and I part my mouth for her.

Her fingers trail over the waistband of my sweats and I groan against her.

"Emmy," I whisper, gripping her hips.

"Okay, come on, seriously?" Devyn snorts. "Making out is one thing, but I don't need to see you guys take your clothes off."

Emery glares at Devyn even as her cheeks turn pink.

How did we not notice them get in the car?

"Devyn," Leia sighs.

"Do you want to watch that?" He arches an eyebrow at her.

"No, I don't. But just leave them be. They're in high school. Let them make out," she looks at him.

"We're in high school," he looks back at her confused.

"I know, but—"

"Okay, we're all in high school. We all make out. I'm glad we got that figured out. Let's not talk about this anymore," Emery rolls her eyes.

Devyn blows out a breath and starts driving.

Once we're on the freeway, Emery smiles at my neck.

"What?" I tuck her hair behind her ear.

"You have my lips on your neck," she smiles while trailing her fingertips over the hickeys.

"Mhm," I murmur, closing my eyes.

Her fingers brush my lips and I bite her fingertip playfully. She giggles and tucks her face into my chest.

"I love you," she whispers, interlocking her fingers with mine.

"I love you, too, Emmy," I kiss her forehead.

"We'll be at the airport in ten minutes," Devyn says.

"Let's go to Starbucks first," Leia squeals. "It's too freaking early for Emery and I to be up."

"It's almost seven," Devyn laughs.

"Um, hello, have you met me?" Emery leans forward so she's closer to Devyn. "I need to sleep in at least until nine. So I agree with Leia. Starbucks it is."

"You're the only two that want it," Devyn points out.

"Grayson wants Starbucks," Leia waggles her eyebrows at me.

"Does he?" Devyn smirks at me in the mirror.

"Starbucks it is," I smile, pulling Emery against me.

"Yay," she squeals, throwing her arms around my neck.

"Fine, whatever," Devyn grumbles. "I would have gone anyways."

He rests his hand on Leia's thigh and she smiles softly at him.

"Gross," Emery teases, the same way Devyn always does to us.

He flips her off and she giggles.

We pull up to Starbucks and Devyn pulls into the drive-thru.

"What do you want, Lele?" Devyn murmurs to Leia.

"Aww, that's cute," Emery rests her chin on Devyn's shoulder and he swats at her.

"Don't swat at my girl," I narrow my eyes at him and Emery tucks herself into my arms.

"Yeah, Devyn," she sticks her tongue out.

"I want something chocolatey," Leia takes Devyn's hand.

"I want caramel," Emery squeaks.

"Okay," Devyn mumbles. "What do you want, Grayson?"

"Whatever Emery gets," I murmur.

"That's the only right answer," Leia winks.

When they hand us our drinks, Emery watches me as I take a sip of the coffee.

"This is disgusting," I wrinkle my nose.

"No it's not," she frowns.

"Yes, it definitely is," I shake my head.

"It's not disgusting, Gray," she glares at me.

"Whatever you say, pretty girl," I say against her ear.

She grins at me and kisses my cheek.

"You know I love you, right?" She whispers.

"I think I've heard you say that once or twice," I smirk.

"Good," she closes her eyes and breathes in the smell of the hoodie I'm wearing. "This smells like me."

"It better," I cup the back of her neck. "I sprayed your perfume on it before we left."

"Why?" She giggles.

"Because I want to smell like you," I murmur.

She nuzzles her cheek against me and I run my fingers through her hair.

"Is it too late to stuff me in your suitcase?" She peeks up at me.

"You're not going, Emery," Devyn says.

"How the fuck did you even hear me?" She groans.
