True to her word, Alondra appeared at the Baker house after her time with Coop and Spencer, instead of going back to where she was currently living.  She refused to call it home, no matter how much she liked Ruben and Lily. Laura Baker herself had opened the door, and Alondra could tell she was stressed out with everything, like she has been the past few weeks.  "Hey, Alo.  You here for Liv or Jordan?"  She asked her tiredly.

Laura had already opened the door wider to allow the teenager into the house, so Alondra was already inside when she said, "Liv, but I also came to fight Jordan for fighting at the restaurant."

"He's hiding outside by the pool."  Laura told her with no hesitation.  With Billy cheating, moving to live with his dad in Crenshaw, and resigning from Beverly, Jordan was the one acting up the most and getting Liv in trouble.

And Laura hated being portrayed as the "bad cop", but Jordan was out of control, so if Alondra could smack some sense into him, Laura was happy to lead the way to her son. Laura went back to her office, trying to get some work done despite her personal issues, and Alondra went outside. "You're lucky I'm wearing sneakers and not sandals to beat your ass." Was how Alondra announced her presence in the backyard, finding Jordan just laying on the pool lounge chair. "You know, if your mom wasn't the county's DA, you'd be in a jail cell with your fingerprints in the system."

"I know that."

"No, I don't think you do.  Trust me, having daddy issues suck, but you're like a whole new person now, especially ever since school started.  It's junior year, you can't just screw up your future because of some marital problems.  You've been wanting to go D1 and to the NFL since I met you, if you got arrested for fighting, all of that would go away."

"Alo, I really don't need to be lectured right now."

"Obviously you do if you still have this stick up your ass. I get you're going through family issues, but disrespecting your mom and putting your future in danger?" Alondra questioned, really wishing she had on different shoes because he was still looking up at the sky and avoiding her gaze. "Can I ask why you decided to punch some random dude? Or are you gonna get mad at me too?"

Jordan dragged out an loud sigh and finally sat up to actually look at his girlfriend while she was talking to him.  "He was just... calling me loud.  And I don't like being disrespected."

"You started a fight because a guy called you loud?  You probably were!  Have you seen how big your mouth is?  And how are you gonna say you don't like being disrespected when that's how you been treating my queen Laura for something your dad did?"

Jordan moved back to press his back against the lounge chair, but he put his legs on either side of it to make room for Alondra to sit down in front of him.  And spoiler, she did.  "I'm sorry, okay?"

Alondra leaned her back against his chest as he wrapped his arms around her and put his head against the side of hers.  "Don't apologize to me, your mom is in her office right there.  And bring me back a sandwich, the sun's making me hungry."
