Jaxson was woken up the next morning by Jennie and lifted out of the playpen.
Mary had decided that the playpen would be his bed until she and Jennie got other arrangements made.
Jennie kissed his forehead saying
" Good morning little one. Have we got a fun day ahead "
Jaxson mumbled under his breath
" Oh boy" being sarcastic in his response.
Jennie tickled his side getting him to laugh.
She said..
" It looks like someone needs a diaper change "
Jaxson blushed red but he knew it was true.
She laid him down on the changing mat and made quick work of changing the young boy's diaper.
Mary came into the room at this point and said...
"Good morning all... did someone leave us a present last night Jennie?"
Jennie replied
" No No no presents just a wet little boy."
Mary said...
" Aww that's adorable. We'll he'll get to it soon"
Jaxson exploded in his mind. He couldn't imagine messing himself.
Jennie carried him to the kitchen and strapped him into his highchair. She also tied the bib around his neck.
Mary sat down and fed him a bowl of oatmeal mixed with some applesauce.
Once she was done feeding him...
She wiped his mouth and hands.
Jennie brought herself and Mary some cups of coffee and sat at the table.
Jaxson huffed wanting to be let out of the highchair.
Mary said..
" No No little guy. You have to wait for us mommies to be finished too"
They both drank their coffee while Jaxson sat pouting in the highchair.
Once they were done..
Jaxson was removed from the highchair and taken into the living room.
Jennie brought out a small blue sailor outfit. She removed Jaxson's t shirt and pull the sailor shirt over his head and threaded his legs through the white shorts. She then put a pair of brown velcro sandals on his feet.
Mary came in the room with a rainbow colored diaper bag and hers and Jennie's purses.
She smiled saying
" Awww such a cute patootie" pinching Jaxson's cheeks.
Jennie said
" We're ready to go"
Jaxson spoke saying
" G Going where? I can't go out like this!!"
Mary said giggling
" Don't worry sweetie. You're a baby. No one will notice "
They'll think your just as adorable as we think you are."
Jaxson huffed and started to whimper but not full on cry.
Jennie picked him up and carried him out the door to the waiting car.
Mary followed after locking the door.
They were headed off to the local mall.
Like any normal family.
