40- Awake

Beep....
Beep...
Beep...

I opened my eyes, gasping for air.
I looked at a ceiling.
A white ceiling.

I looked down,
I was in a blanket.
Am I not dead yet?

Then I took a look around my surroundings.
A hospital room, I was on a hospital bed. The room was empty... except....
There was another person beside me, on a another bed.
The person was familiar.

Hinata! (Shouyo)
It was Hinata.
Wasn't I supposed to be dead right now? What happened?

I raised my right arm and raised it to my cheek.
I pinched myself.
"Ow-" I winced.

Bad idea. I'm hurt.

I heard a door unlocking.
I moved my eyes to face whoever was coming inside.
It was Hanoi.

"Hanoi... sensei?" I spoke.

"Ah, you're awake." He said as he walked over to me.

"What... is happening?" I asked.
I obviously remember what had happened.
I fought Hinata's father and he was about to... kill me?

"You see, " he started,
"Jenha called the police, and they barely made it on time. When they arrived, they saw Taro Hinata raising a deadly weapon to harm you, so they shot him in the leg, making him lose balance and yeah that stuff."
I nodded,

"You've been down for a week."

I felt my eyes widen.

"The footage was viewed by the higher-ups and they claimed Taro Hinata guilty of murder, rape, abuse, use of illegal drugs and many more unwanted crimes."

I felt my heart slowly lighten up.
"They checked Hinata's body and there were fingerprints of Taro and also horrifying bruises, scars, cuts." He said.
I nodded,
I looked over at Hinata.

"We said you'd be out for a while but he insisted he'd be moved to your room." I heard another voice say.
I looked at the person.

It was a female woman.
Blond hair, black eyes.

"Hello. I'm Kayo Choi. I'm going to take in Hinata as child. I'm also Kai Hanoi's fiancée." She spoke.

"Hello..." I replied. She was going to take care of Hinata...?

"I have a son your age. He goes to your school. I also have a young daughter, aged eight." She laughed.
"Have you met him? He's in the volleyball team I think." She spoke.

"No...? I haven't been at the place for a while I guess." I looked back at Hinata.

"Mmm...." Hinata mumbled,
I saw him open his eyes.

"Hinata!" I Yelled, clearly happy.
I saw his eyes move towards me,
"Kageyama... KAGEYAMA!" He Yelled louder than me.

I quickly got off my bed, knowing he isn't able to move, and wrapped my arms around him in a tight embrace.
"I'm so glad you're okay!" I spoke.

"No, I'm glad you're okay!" He replied.

"Alright. Hinata." Mrs. Choi spoke,
We broke the hug and looked at her.

"We have a surprise for you." She said.

"Surprise?" Hinata asked, confused.
I heard Mrs. Choi laugh.

"Come in." She said.

There walked in two people.
One person had blond hair, I suppose he was a male. He had shoulder length hair, wore a black hoodie and knee length jeans with short socks and pure black shoes. I think he was that new kid that transferred to Karasuno? Mrs. Choi's son, I suppose.

The other person... it was a girl, young girl. She had orange hair. Hair that was tied in pig-tails and she had bright orange eyes. She wore pastel colored tucked in shirt with a white skirt and bright pink sandals. Their daughter? I suppose?
