I KNOCKED AT Halimat's door waiting for her to open the door few seconds later the door swung open and Halimat's lips suddenly curve into a smile embracing me in an hug
"I missed you"she said while I hug her back "you just came at the right time I just finished cooking
"Cooking what?"I asked
"Rice and stew"she says as she holds my hand dragging me along with her to the dinning room
She serves the food and we both sit down in the dining room eating slowly and quietly
"When do you plan on getting married to me because I'm so tired of this Abba we have been dating for almost two years now"
"We talked about this few months ago and I told you we will get married when I divorce her"I said through gritted teeth
"When do you plan on divorcing her cause I don't understand anymore you guys have being married for long now and I see no sign from you that you want to divorce her and also Islam permits a man to marry more than one woman so what's stopping you"
"I have a lot on my tables right now"I said finally loosing my appetite
"I'm not getting any younger Abba I'm twenty two for Allah's sake and I want to start my family I don't get what's wrong with you or have you falling for her?"
"Of course not I'm not in love with her"I replied
"Then let's get married,you are not a baby anymore you're twenty five and nothing stops you from having two wives I wouldn't even call her your wife I'm more of a wife to you than her"she says dropping her spoon
"Let's talk about this another time this not the right time"
"Will there ever be a right time eh Abba"she start crying"you always make excuses,tell me if you don't want me anymore let me leave the relationship I can't be in a relationship without a future"
"I'm so sorry my dear"I stood up and embrace her in a hug "you know I love you so much Halimat you mean the world to me I'm so sorry for making you cry"
"Then let's get married"
"Yes we should get married"
"Seriously"she asked looking at me in the eyes with hope and excitement written all over her face
How can I say no
"Yes my dear"I replied pressing a kiss on her forehead
We went back to our food but I wasn't having the appetite anymore and I just played with it before telling her I'm okay
After spending two hours with Halimat I decided to go home,I parked my car at the garage and went inside the house I was surprised to see Aishah in the house I didn't know what came over me but I gave her a questioning look while she glared at me,I felt a pang on my chest and dismissed it immediately
My eyes ranked over her body and she was wearing a short and a loose shirt the type of shirt I like seeing her in everyday
