THE WEEK PASSED in a blur with Ibrahim constantly avoiding me and me fulfilling my duties by cooking his food doing his laundries and taking care of the house
Today is Monday and I decided to go back to school and make up for everything I had missed,I had my bath and wore a simple plain black abaya with wine Color veil and matches it up with gold slippers,I took my purse and rush out of the house looking for a cab
Luckily enough for me I found a cab faster than I thought and he took me to school,I paid the driver and stepped down from the tricycle working towards my first class
The class passed in a blur and lots of my course mates came to congratulate me on my wedding,I called Fareedah and we decided to have our lunch in a restaurant out of the school
"I have been waiting for you for long time now"I told Fareedah as soon as I saw her
"I am so sorry,I needed to compile my notes"she said apologetically
"No problems"I said smiling at her
"How's your husband?" she asked as we start walking out of the school campus
"Point of correction when you want to ask about him just say Ibrahim he is not my husband and doesn't fit to be called so"
"I'm so sorry forgive me for my mistake"
"It's fine"I gave her a reassuring smile
"So any changes?"she asked
"Not at all he acts as if I don't exist but I'm getting cool with it"
"Are you sure?"she asked with concerns lacing her voice
"I would have told you if I wasn't,trust me"she shakes her head in form of understanding
We took a tricycle from the school to the restaurant,the tricycle stopped at the front of the restaurant I paid him and we walk toward a deserted table where I sat down
Fareedah decided to order for our meal while I sat down on the chair going through my phone,the door suddenly opened and I looked up to see no any other person but Ibrahim with a fair plump lady laughing like they didn't care about the world
I felt new surge of anger pass through me when they took a seat opposite mine oblivious of my presence,few minutes later Fareedah came with our meal while my fixation was on Ibrahim who is still oblivious of my presence,he called the waiter and ordered his meal the waiter left to attend to their needs while he says something which might be funny because the lady laughed showing all her teeth
We started eating our food in silence but Fareedah noticed the uneasiness in me and stopped eating scrutinizing me with her gaze,I look up at her and gave her an half smile while she rolled her eyes
"Don't give me that look so tell me what's wrong?"she asked
"You wouldn't want to hear it"I replied after sighing
"Trust me I want to"she said smirking
"Well Ibrahim and a lady are having a time of their life"I replied
