I walk to my locker keeping my head down. I don't want anyone to see the look that I try to pry off my face. My hair is down in it's natural waves shielding my face even more. I can only see the floor and shoes of others who pass by me in the hall. I glance up a little to find my locker, and then look back down reaching it. I quickly open my locker, and adjust my backpack on my one shoulder because my other one still hurts. I see a pair of old worn out black converse plant themselves next to me.

"Angel?" Mason's voice asks gently. I stand there stunned from his tone, but keep my head still looking down. "Angel, what's wrong?" His voice sounds concerned, which makes me sigh. I feel a couple other people approaching making me hurry at my locker before slamming it close.

"Dylan, what did she do?" Lucy asks. Her hands grip my shoulders, making me wince slightly, turning me towards her. She moves my hair out of my face. I look up to meet her eyes as I feel mine become glassy.

"The usual. Seth doesn't even help anymore." I say lowly. She frowns before wrapping her arms around me in a hug. I can feel Mason's gaze on me, but I ignore him right now. I feel Kailey join in on the hug making me smile blinking the tears away.

"Don't worry. As soon as your grandmother is gone, so will your mother." Lucy whispers in my ear. I wince in pain as the two squeeze me tighter, and my shoulder gets crushed more.

"Girls, get off her. You are hurting her." Mason demands. The girls quickly let go looking me over.

"Sorry, we didn't me-"

"It's fine." I cut off Kailey.

"Are you sure?" Lucy asks raising an eyebrow at me. I roll my eyes at her before turning to Mason.

"Are you okay?" He asks me. I smile at him nodding my head. I watch him look me over to look for any sign that I'm lying. His eyes then zero in on my shoulder before they widen. I raise an eyebrow at him. His blue eyes glance from me to my shoulder, so I look to it. I feel my eyes go wide as I see my shirt starting to spot with blood.

"Shit." I whisper, looking to Mason in panic. He seems to shut down for a second before pulling me to follow him. I hear the girls calling behind me, but I can't do anything as Mason keeps pulling me along.

"How bad is the pain?" Mason asks as he pulls me into the empty nurse's office. I don't know why it's empty, but I'm glad it is. Mason sits me on the counter in the back.

"It's not bad." I say. He raises an eyebrow at me.

"Angel." He sighs. Our eyes are locked together as his hands rest on the counter caging me in. "Take off your shirt." Mason orders breaking the silence. I feel myself blush as my eyes widen from his comment.

"What?" I gasp. Mason rolls his eyes at me.

"Take off your shirt. I need to stop the bleeding." He says. I quickly nod my head, and does as he says. I take my shirt off leaving me only in my bra, which makes my cheeks heat up even more. I see Mason's cheeks slightly turn pink as he focuses on my eyes. He takes in a deep breath before moving away to get some stuff to clean my wound. He comes back quickly taking off the blood soaked bandage. Taking what seems to be a wipe he rubs it gently over my shoulder cleaning the blood off. Then he bandages it again once he knows it won't bleed anymore. The whole time I bite my lip to not cry out from the stinging pain.

"Thank you." I whisper. Mason's eyes lock with mine before he steps back. I watch him in confusion as he takes his sweatshirt off, his shirt underneath riding up showing his defined abs. I can see his underwear sticking out from his jeans making my heart race. I look away as he fixes it stepping towards me.
