Selena was coming down the stairs. Everyone stopped talking and looked at her. Selena got so nervous that she stopped at the center of the stairs and only moved when her father came to get her and lead her downstairs too greet the guests.
- Selena I would like you to meet someone else - King Jeremy says while stopping in front of 3 people
- This is Arthur Pendragon. She is his wife, Guinevere Pendragon and the other is ... ? - King Jeremy says while pointing to each one of them
- Merlin, sir! - Merlin says while staring at Selena. Arthur smirks.
"So this is the guy who was staring at me a few moments ago " - Selena thinks while staring back
- Selena! Nice to meet you! - Selena extends her hand for Merlin to accept. Everyone got confused. Usually nobody extends a hand to a servant.
Merlin got surprised at first but accepted to shake Selena's hand.
- The pleasure it's all mine, miss - Merlin says smiling while Selena smiles back at him. He knows that this little girl is not normal since he arrived here. He felt something very powerful inside of her.
- And you can call me Gwein, if you want - Guinevere says while breaking the eye contact between two powerful people.
- Gwein? - Selena asks
- Yes! It's my nickname. Everybody calls me that - Guinevere says
- What would you like to be called? - Selena asks
- Gwein! - Guinevere says
- So, Gwein it will be! - Selena says smiling at Gwein
- Thank you! You are adorable! - Gwein says to Selena
- Thanks! - Selena says
A music started playing. Selena was watching the girls and women dancing with adoration in her eyes. Her father notices it:
- Why don't you go over there and have some fun, dear? - King Jeremy asks
- Really, father? - Selena asks hopeful
- Yes, of course! - King Jeremy says
- Thank you, daddy! - Selena says extremely happy while hugging her father and running to where the people were dancing.
- Won't you join them? - King Jeremy asks
- I'm not a big fan of dancing - Gwein says
The four: King Jeremy, Arthur, Gwein and Merlin watch Selena dancing while she laughs. They all thought she was so sweet and innocence, but still has to learn many things during her life.
- She will be a great queen someday - Arthur says
- Indeed she will! - King Jeremy says
" Yeah, she will" - Merlin says happy while watching the girl having fun while dancing
But what they didn't know was that there was a person who wasn't liking anything at all about the "sweet girl". The person was watching her with only hatred and jealousy.
