Chapter 11- Unraveling Tensions

Guys just wanted to know if any up for smut? This thing depends on you guys. Although I have planned to not to include it but if you guys are into it just tell me.
Because I am really not good on those parts. I am an angsty queen though.

The next day dawned bright and clear, and the training grounds of the Red Moon pack were abuzz with activity. Jungkook, determined to maintain unity and strength within his pack, decided to spend time with the Omega females who were curious to learn more about their esteemed Alpha.

As the news spread that the hottest man alive, Alpha Jungkook, was going to be present, the training grounds quickly filled with excited Omega females. They giggled and whispered among themselves, eagerly awaiting his arrival.

Jungkook arrived, flanked by Namjoon and Yoongi, and he greeted the Omega females warmly. His humility and genuine concern for his pack members were evident in his every word and gesture.

"Good morning, everyone," Jungkook said with a warm smile. "I'm here to answer any questions you may have about the pack, our goals, or anything else you'd like to know."

The Omega females were in awe of him, enchanted by his charisma and his dedication to his pack. They fired questions at him, and he answered each one with patience and respect.

While most of the Omega females were captivated by Jungkook's presence, there was one who remained aloof and unimpressed-Taehyung. The same Omega who had confronted him at the fountains the night before.

Taehyung watched the scene unfold from a distance, his eyes narrowed with displeasure. He had no intention of participating in this fanfare, but the sight of Jungkook surrounded by adoring Omega females grated on his nerves.

As the Q&A session continued, Taehyung couldn't help but overhear some of the conversations around him. The admiration the Omega females had for Jungkook was palpable, and it only served to fuel Taehyung's irritation.

"Why are they so infatuated with him?" Taehyung muttered to himself, feeling a twinge of jealousy he didn't want to admit. "He's just an Alpha, like any other."

Despite his inner turmoil, Taehyung kept his distance, refusing to be swayed by Jungkook's charm. But when he noticed a group of Omega females giggling and whispering to each other while casting glances at Jungkook, his frustration reached its peak.

Unable to contain himself any longer, Taehyung approached the group, his demeanor icy as he interrupted, "Is there something amusing?"

The Omega females looked startled by Taehyung's sudden appearance, and the atmosphere turned tense. Jungkook, who had been in the midst of answering another question, turned his attention to Taehyung, his expression a mix of surprise and concern.

One of the Omega females, who seemed to be the most infatuated with Jungkook, stammered, "N-nothing, Luna Taehyung. We were just... um... discussing Alpha Jungkook's impressive leadership."

Taehyung's eyes flickered with annoyance, but he kept his composure. "I see. Well, carry on then."

As the Omega females resumed their conversation with Jungkook, Taehyung couldn't help but feel a pang of irritation. He didn't like the way they fawned over Jungkook, as if he were some kind of celebrity.

"Why do they fall at his feet like that?" Taehyung thought bitterly. "Do they not see that he's the same Alpha who rejected me in front of everyone?"

Taehyung's mind was clouded with memories of the past, and he found it difficult to shake off the feelings of hurt and humiliation. But amidst the storm of emotions, a voice inside him questioned his own behavior.

"Is it really fair to judge him solely based on what happened in the past?" Taehyung asked himself. "People can change, can't they? And he did come to apologize..."

His inner conflict continued to tug at him, but Taehyung remained stubborn. He wasn't ready to forgive and forget, not yet.

Meanwhile, Jungkook noticed the tension in the air and could sense Taehyung's discomfort. Although he didn't understand the full extent of Taehyung's feelings, he couldn't ignore the fact that his presence seemed to rile the Luna.

Once the Q&A session concluded, Jungkook excused himself from the group of Omega females and approached Taehyung cautiously. "Luna Taehyung, may I speak with you for a moment?"

Taehyung looked up, his expression guarded. "What is it, Alpha Jungkook?"

"I sense that there's some tension between us," Jungkook began gently. "I want to understand why, so we can find a way to work together for the sake of our packs."

Taehyung scoffed, crossing his arms defensively. "You rejected me, humiliated me, and now you expect us to work together as if nothing happened?"

Jungkook sighed, realizing that their wounds ran deep. "I know I hurt you, and I can't change that. But I genuinely want to make amends and build a better relationship between our packs. We need to stand united against external threats."

Taehyung's eyes softened momentarily, but he quickly masked his emotions. "I'll consider it, but don't expect forgiveness overnight. The wounds you caused don't heal that easily."

"I understand," Jungkook replied, feeling a glimmer of hope. "Thank you for at least considering it. I'll be patient, and I promise to prove myself through my actions."

Taehyung nodded, but he didn't offer any further response. He turned and walked away, leaving Jungkook with a mix of emotions. While he was glad that Taehyung seemed open to the idea of reconciliation, he knew that it would take time and effort to rebuild the bridges that had been burned.
