"Kay why my baby so grumpy today?" Lani asked me with her face frowned up as she sat with Hendrix on her lap facing her
"He always looking like that. Ion know what his daddy be doing to him cause he ain start looking like that until Benji started keeping him by himself"
"That's exactly how his daddy walk around looking so of course he gone do the same thing" ms Shonda told me and I laughed.
"I told Benji he better stop frowning like that before he get wrinkles"
"Where Benji went anyways?"
"Him and Serenity went to the store for me" ma answered while she walked over to the oven, checking on the food that was in there
"I knew Serenity was missing. And y'all heard me call her name about 4 or 5 times earlier"
"I thought she was ignoring you" Lani responded to me and I rolled my eyes
"If don't nobody else ignore me, I know Serenity won't. She loves me!" I boasted. Ma frowned
