"What y'all doing over there?" I asked Kentrell.
"We chillin. Whatchu want? You called me bout 12 times already"
"Because I'm bored.. I don't have nobody to talk to"
"Well fuck you too then bitch" Mika cursed as she walked into the living room
"Shut up Mika. You know what I mean. Plus you bit to go in a date"
"No fuck you. Go ahead and talk to your babydaddy"
I rolled my eyes hearing Kentrell laugh
"We good now stop callin"
"But I-"
"Call again and ima block yo number" he told me before hanging up the phone. After he hung up I looked at the screen and frowned
"Awe.. now I'm sad"
"Why? Cause you can't talk to kentrell nomore"
"No. Because I miss my son"
"That's not the only person you miss but go off sis"
"Why do you assume I miss Kentrell?"
"Because you do. Y'all need to get over yourselves and try to get back together but until then, I'll leave y'all alone cause ma coming at you about it too"
I looked at Amika and realized she was slightly dressed up
"And where you going?"
"That's a secret" she told me with a grin as she grabbed her keys and purse
"Mhhh secret my ass. I wanna know"
"Depending on how the night goes, I'll tell you when I get back"
I began to laugh while she headed to the door
"Be safe Mika. Love you"
"Alright. Love you too bitch"
Once she left the house I let out a sigh and went upstairs to my room with my phone in hand. After scrolling through tv channels for about a good 30 minutes I eventually drifted off to sleep
The next morning
After sleeping all of 30 minutes I continued to sleep on and off because it was too quiet. I've already grown so used to Kaier's cries in the night so not hearing them was beyond uncomfortable
