    Sunburns

    I would like to always end my days
    With dirt under my nails
    Sunburns on my skin
    And with laughter 
    still bubbling within me
    
                          
    A journal entry of mine reads
    "In other news,
    I'm sunburnt."
    I'm in love with this entry 
    I'm sunburnt.
    Sunburns are always 
    a sign of a grand adventure
    Every day that I end burnt
    Is a day well spent outdoors
    
                          
    Normally where there are sunburns
    There are friends 
    Laughter 
    And sometimes lemonade 
    These three things 
    Could make any day 
    a grand adventure 
    However put those three together
    And throw in a bit of burn?
    Now that's summer
