Asherah has been slave to the coral reefs since she was but a babe, and life has not been kind to the nymph. Now that she is finally of age, her master, Cthulhu, is offering her her freedom in exchange for the answer to a riddle.
Desperate for a chance at freedom, Asherah travels through the waters and across the seas, in search of an answer, but none come to her.
Until......
An elderly mermaid who claims to be a sea witch approaches Asherah in the Mediterranean sea, offering her services. The witch requests nothing but Asherah's love, an odd request, but it was one that Asherah was willing to comply with.
But things are never as they seem, and neither is the truth of who Asherah really is.
