Destiel (Highschool AU) I Like You...a Lot

Chapter 33

*a year and a half later*

Castiel's P.O.V.

dean and i have moved out of bobby's house

it was sad to leave

but once we graduated highschool we started looking for apartments

we found one

it is beautiful

it's pretty small

one bedroom, one bathroom

but the view out the window is amazing

it's perfect for dean and i

considering we share a bed (and sometimes a shower) anyway

we still have angel (the dog)

and were both happy

we are not far from bobby, sam and gabe

we live about 20 minutes away

it's not that bad

we still visit them every so often

today is my birthday

and it starts out with dean kissing me until i wake up

he smiles his beautiful smile when i open my eyes

"mornin beautiful" he tells me in a quiet voice

"morning dean" i say in a tired voice

"i made you some coffee, and i picked you up a doughnut too"

i look down at the plate he was holding and see a chocolate doughnut with a lit candle on it

i smile

"happy birthday cas, make a wish" he says in a sweet voice

i think for a little bit and blow out the candle

"what did you wish for?' he asks

"well, if i tell you it won't come true" i say back to him grabbing the coffee and taking a sip

he chuckles and takes a sip of my coffee as well

like always

i'm just used to it now

him drinking my coffee

now if he doesn't, it's just weird

"go visit bobby for a while, gabe and sammy want to see you on your birthday, they got a whole day planned for you" dean says to me handing back my coffee

i take a sip and look at him in confusion "what about you?" i ask

"don't worry about me, i will see you when you get back" he tells me reassuringly

"but dean, it's my birthday, i want you to be there with me" i tell him grabbing his hand and squeezing it

he chuckles a little bit "cas, don't worry, maybe we will go out for dinner tonight, ok? i promise, now get up, get dressed and go to bobby's" he tells me

i put the coffee on the table side and groan out loud

"deeeeaaannn nooooooo"i whine "the beds too warm to leave" i say snuggling up to the blankets that smelled like dean

he smiles and walks over to the bed "c'mon cas, you don't want to stay in bed all day on your birthday do you?"

i grab deans hands and pull him down with me and cover him with the blankets
