Link's heart stopped for a second, then his eyes sparkled as his cheeks blushed, his mouth trembling.
Should he tell Rhett? He licked his lips and stammered out the words. "Just now wh-"
He stopped and hesitated.
"Uh...really?" He asked instead.
Rhett looked into Link's eyes.
"Yeah. 100% sure. Like, it was just so vivid. I-I don't know, Link."
Link hoped Rhett couldn't see the sparkle in his eye, the butterflies in his stomach, the sweat on his forehead.
He was at a loss for words, his mind working to think of something to say.
He blushed. "I-I don't know what to say, Rhett."
Rhett swallowed hard. "I think I-I think I-"
Link didn't even care anymore. He bent down quickly and swiftly and put his lips to Rhett's.
"Mmmff!" Rhett tried to talk, but he gave up. This felt good.
Link's hands just naturally reached for Rhett's face, like it was a movement he was familiar with.
After a few minutes Link pulled away.
The duo looked at each other again, locking eyes, slowly realizing something. Something new, something important.
