After the kanas city shows Taylor and I were sitting in her New York home, chilling before we had to fly to Colorado. We were laying down watching Greys Anatony, when taylor said, "Have you met Gracie?"
Gracie being one of the other openers for Taylor, I was a big fan of hers
"Uh I don't think so, she's opening in Colorado?" i ask
"yes, you should meet her. she's really nice"
we were chatting about Scarlett being at the show and the last few weeks, we haven't been able to catch up and chat
"omg did i tell you what tree said to me?" Taylor says.
i'm hoping it's nothing bad
"no, what is it?"
"apparently some dude, travis kelce, he's a tight end for the chiefs?" she says, more as a question. i nod in response
"he said he gave mom a bracelet with his number on it and I never got it, anyway I contacted him"
I guess andrea never gave her the bracelets, i'm silently thanking her
"are you gonna meet up with him?" hint of jealously or sadness in my voice, probably both.
"maybe, he's kinda cute. should i date him?"
why is she asking me? i would totally say no but i'm a good friend so i'll say yes
"if you want to"
before she could respond my phone chimed

"who was that?" Taylor asked curiously
"it was scarlett, she wanted me to come over because rose wants to see me" i replied, starting to get up and collecting my things
"aw i don't want you to leave, i love spending time with you" my stomach flipped

"uh scarlett actually asked if you wanted to come?" my voice laced with hope that she would want to come with me

"really?" she seem shocked almost
"you know what? ill come, i've only meet scarlet a handful of times"
THANK GOD!! i'm so happy she wanted to come
"alrighty, let's goooo" i say as i'm getting my shoes on.
"are you gonna bring security or can I drive?"
she always had some sort of security on her, i feel bad
"you can drive" i'm shocked the moment this comes out of her mouth
"seriously??"
"yes, i need a little break"

I plugged my phone in before we started to drive and our song played, twist and shout by the beatles. we both loved the beatles and when we were in highschool we did karaoke to it all the time. So of course, me and taylor started to jam out.
After a few songs, nothing new started to play. I've always loved nothing new, I just felt like it summerized my life in many ways. I didn't tell taylor this because I was embarrassed. "you can just skip this, please" i plead
"is this nothing new??" she asks like it's not her song or something
"mhm" i say and turn sway, i know how red my face is at this moment
"omg cami are you embarrassed? you shouldn't be baby" AH my stomach did 28848 flips after that nickname, i don't know if she meant it but god damn I loved it coming out of her mouth.
"it's my favorite song" i reveal to her
"no way, you're kidding"
"nope" i said popping the p

We continue to listen to music before we pull up to scarlett's house about 15 minutes later.
"ready?" i ask taylor
"yeah, i guess so" she seems uneasy
"don't be nervous" i say as we walk up the path leading to her house, there's a lot of trees house near it and it's on the ocean .It's a big white house with blue shudders. we walk up the stairs and i knock of the door, colin answes
"hey guys, scarlett said you were coming by"
"hey colin, yeah scar said rose missed me so here i am, this is taylor" i introduced them to each other
"where scar and rosie" i mean i came here for them so i wondered where they were
"oh they are outback, on the swings" the thing about scarlett's house was that it had a HUGE backyard and access to the ocean. tay and I walked to the back door, i opened it and i yelled
"ROSSSIEEE"
she heard and then yelled
"AUNNTIEEE CAMIII" back to me
she came running and i picked her up.
"i missed you" she says
"aw rosie i missed you too" i gestured to taylor next to me and i said "this is my friend taylor, she makes music
"hi rose" taylor says, trying to befriend the little 6 year old
"hello" rose says politely back
scarlett finally caught up and said hello to the both is us, we headed inside and rose sat down and started to color "can you color with me taylor" my heat almost exploded
"of course" taylor replied before sitting down and coloring with her. i walked to the kitchen where colin and scarlett stood, "she's really good with her" she was obviously talking about taylor and rose
"she really is" i admire about taylor and rose
"still havnt told her yet" scarlett asked, colin knew about my feelings toward taylor but kept quiet, "no, i don't really plan on it in the near future, the football player from the concert contacted her. he was upset he couldn't talk to her after the show. she said she might go out with him" i sigh and sit down at the stool near the kitchen island. Rose then comes running into the kitchen with a paper in hand, "mommy look what taylor and i drew"
it was a cat, of course
taylor then came into the kitchen a second later and placed her hands on my shoulders, sending shivers down my spine.

All of us ate some pizza and watched a few movies before it was late and I needed to bring taylor home and rose needed to go to bed. "gnight taylor, gnight auntie cami" rose said in a tired voice
"good night sweet pea, see you soon"
Colin took her upstairs before scarlett guided us out and me and taylor walked to my car.
"when are we leaving for colorado?" i ask pulling out of scarlett's long ass driveway
"the 12th" she replied, it's july 10th right now and the first show is the 14th which also happens to be my birthday.
"i have an idea for your birthday" taylor says with a mischievous grin
"i don't want to do anything big or fancy" she knows that i really don't like my birthday
"it's a suprise, i promise nothing big or fancy" i wonder what she has planned, but i won't push her because i know she won't budge.
She turned on the radio and the sound of the music played quietly in the car.
I noticed she was texting someone a lot and laughing, "who is that" i asked curiously
"oh it's travis, he's taking me out on a date" i couldn't help but feel jealous.
"like the football player"
"yes" she replies and goes back to her phone
"when are you going to go out with him?"
"he said the 17th, after Colorado" 

after about 10 minutes or so we finally arrive at her house.
"bye tay tay, i'll see you soon"
"by cami, have a good night" she says before shutting the door of my car.

i arrive home and was greeted by my cat, shadow. Hes an all black cat, hense the name. taylor gifted me him about 3 years ago. who would have thought taylor swift would give out cats as gifts.
I get ready for bed when i see a dm for a girl named Julien Baker, holy shit, i love her and boygenius. i get a lot of my music inspo from them.

this weekend was gojng to be fun, i was gonna meet gracie one day and phoebe ,lucy, and julien the next day. i think of a replay before i land on a perfect text.
