When I was young, I was always told that everyone loved a tragic Greek love story. Orpheus and Eurydice. Apollo and Hyacinth. Hero and Leander. Achilles and Patroclus. I had asked my mother why so many of those stories didn't have happy endings. She just gave me a grim smile and told me how the world of the gods was tricky. There was a lot about it that I didn't understand yet. That was 13 years ago.
I think I understand it now.

Part 1: Pre-Lightning Thief-Lightning Thief
Author's Note: Cass's narration is from her perspective after the events of the Last Olympian, hence why it says 13 years ago. In the events of the Lightning Thief, Cass will be 16 years old. By the events of the Last Olympian, she will be 20, which is where the 13 years come in since she came to camp when she was 7. I hope that clears up any confusion.
Some parts are from the books, some are based off the show, and some I came up with by myself. Some of the character looks are purely based off the show. Others, such as Annabeth and Percy, will have a mix of show and book features.
Trigger Warnings: May contain some swearing and mentions/details of violence and death.
The plot and most of the characters are created and owned by Rick Riordan. Few characters such as Cass and Diana are created by me.
