Riley's pov
Me and Sam got closer has he helped me set the house.

I adopted Haven as Sam helped me train her has a emotional support animal.

She reminded me so much of Harley.

"She's a beauty." Sam said grinning.

"She's very beautiful." I said letting Haven.

It was half way into summer as Parker and Alec went and hung out. Me and Sam were hanging out by the ice cream shop.

"So anyone from your hometown?" He asked me and I shrugged.

"This one girl..." I said and he seemed intrigued.

"She's.. hot... and I mean beautiful." I said and he smiled listening to me.

"She loves me but... it's hard to say I never told her where we went. I gave her a hint in hopes she figures it out." I said and get stopped me.

"Do you love her?" He asked me and I looked at him.

"Very much... I love her and I realized that too late..." I said and he frowned at the last sentence.

"Riley it's not too late..." he said and I smiled.

"Thanks Sam... your a really good friend." I said and he smiled.

"That's what neighbors are for." He said.

"Hey hey! Riley!" I heard seeing Alec and Parker together.

"Can we get money for ice cream?" He asked me and I smiled.

I gave them both 20$ just for the fun of it if they wanted anything else.

"Hey there's soccer tryouts... they need a new captain since there old one graduated." He said pointing at the soccer stadium.

"Cmon let's go. Maybe this will get your mind off things." He said as we entered.

We saw the team look at me as I looked down.

"Well... who do we have?" They asked me kicking a soccer ball.

"What position?" They asked me.

"Front field..." I mumbled.

"Very Well...Cmon." I heard seeing a coach.

She brought me to the field as I practiced my dribble.

They made me try out as the coach watched me carefully.
