"Jacob, can you help me, please!" I shout down the stairs of the pack house
I quickly hear footsteps coming up the stairs and i know its him.
"Can you grab me a new diaper please?" I say as i keep one hand on the old one
He nods and passes me one and i carry on changing the baby.
After i am done, i scoop her in my arms and i turn to him, leaning up to kiss him on the cheek and i walk down stairs to the others, sitting in the family room, on the couch.
I sit besides Emily and she smiles as i hand her the baby
"Any idea on any names yet?" Sam asks as he walks into the room
"We're not sure, we want the perfect name"
"Well you'd best decide soon, because i'm sick of calling her baby" He says, laughing and we all join in.
"It's weird" I say and Emily turns her head to me from looking down at the baby
"What is?" She asks
"I never thought i would have a baby, never mind name one" I say "But i'm happy, extremely happy" I say, smiling as i take the baby from Emily as she hands her to me and i look down at her face.
"All you have to wait for now is Jake to propose and then everything's peachy" She says and i chuckle
"Yeah, but i'm not going to pressure him to" I say
"Why not?" Emily asks me
"He's just become a Dad, he needs time being just that before he becomes a husband as well" I say and she nods as Jacob walks into the room

I walk into the kitchen the next day, with the baby in my arms, and i see Dad.
"Dad?" I ask as i walk up to him and i hug him.
"Hey, Kate" He says to me and i smile
"What are you doing here?"
"I came to tell you something" He says and my heart drops
"What is it, is it bad?" I ask quickly
"No, it's nothing too bad" He tells me "It's just that Bella and Edward will be on their honeymoon for a few weeks longer, said something about a stomach bug in Bella, didn't want to travel why she was sick"
"A stomach bug?" I say and he nods as Emily walks into the room with Billy
"Yes, we got told the same thing, a stomach bug" Emily says, giving me a look with her eyes
I begin to walk out of the room when Emily stops me
"It's not worth it, think of the baby" She tells me
"I am thinking of the baby, i don't want anything to happen to its aunt" I say as i walk out of the room.
