Surprise Disaster(Cole x Reader)

"Guys... we are idiots"

"Bye Zane! Have fun!" The team of ninja and a girl with h/c hair waved while smiling.

"I do not understand why you guys could not come with me?" Zane asked, innocently raising an eyebrow as Kai and Jay pushed him out of the house.

"We just don't want to get in the way, that's all!" Cole grinned elbowing Zane playfully in the stomach while wiggling his eyes, "You know with Pixal and all."

Zane sighed at his teams actions, "It's just a small trip to Borg Industries, he needs our help with one of his projects."

"No, he needs your help with one of the projects," Nya interrupted pointing at Zane.

Zane shook his head, "What will you guys be doing while I am away?"

The laughing bodies of the team stilled as if they were frozen in giant ice cubes. 

"Organizing the colored pencils!" Kai yelled while Jay panicked, "Feeding the elephants!" the same time Nya piped, "Snipping the trees" while Y/N squeaked, "Throwing away the stuffed animals in Jay's room" and Lloyd confidently stated, "Putting metal in the microwave to see what happens" all the while Cole took a chocolate bar out of his gi to stress eat.

Zane raised his eyebrow unconvinced by the weird answers he was given. Sweat dripped down the ninja's brows as they gave what they thought was a convincing smile (with the exception of Jay who was glaring at Y/N).

Shaking off the weirdness of his family Zane turned away giving one last glance at the team, "I will be back by 6 in the evening. Don't destroy the house." He gave a glance at Lloyd before summoning his dragon and flying out of distance.

The team let out a breath they didn't know that they were holding until Zane was out of sight seeing distance from the monastery.

Y/N clasped her hands together looking at her family, "Let's get to work, team! We've got approximately 6 hours before Zane comes back and we have a lot of work to do! This surprise birthday party for him is going to be perfect!"

"Nya! Kai! Get the streamers and other decorations! Also make sure the presents are where they are supposed to be!" She ordered, pointing to the siblings. Kai turned his focus away from his sister's hair he was trying to burn off towards Y/N.

"Aye aye!" Kai saluted and dragged Nya towards the storage room.

"Good! Now, Jay and Lloyd! You two are going to have to start preparing some of the food. The crock-pot is in the cabinet over the ovens. Also you can start preparing some of the sides and put those in the fridge. You might need to clear some space!" Y/N stated, turning to Lloyd and Jay who were playing a game of Rock Paper Clamp.

Lloyd nodded signifying he heard the girl before placing his paper of Jay's rock and sticking out his tongue, "Guess your the one who has to clean the fridge."

"WHAT!? WE NEVER AGREED TO THIS! I THOUGHT IT WAS A FRIENDLY GAME!!!" Jay yelped in protest.

Straitening his back and stroking and imaginary beard Lloyd began to say in his fake, wise voice, "Never let your guard down, Ninja. You will never know what lies around the corner of life."
