Dev was flicking through the magazine sitting in the hall when Anish came home.
He was delighted to see Dev. He went to hug him but he stopped
"why did you lie" he asked
Anish was stunned.
"What have I done" he asked
"Acha you don't know what you have done" he questioned strongly
Anish didn't know what he was talking about.
"You were there when Shivani was attacked..so why did you lie" he reprimanded him
"dude I was not there' he claimed innocence
"Dont lie" he shouted
"Oh now you trust only that Shivani...not me" he started crying
"Yes, I trust her...why should she lie" he told angrily
"Dev ...my dev...why dont you trust me" he told keeping his hands on his cheeks
He was startled with this behaviour.
"What are you doing Anish" he told feeling uncomfortable
"Why...don't you like my touch" he asked with longing in his eyes
Dev was at loss of words. He didn't understand what was going on.
He wanted to just get out of that place.
"Move away you creep" he told pushing aside
"No...not now...you are mine" he told and hit him hard on the head with the vase kept at the side table
The blood started oozing out and he just fell on the floor unconscious.
"Baba what have you done" exclaimed Raghu Kaka as he came rushing listening to their arguments
"I...I dont know kaka" he told scared
"Lets do some first aid and call the doctor" he suggested
Finally the doctor came and examined him.
"How did he get hurt" he asked suspiciously
"He just slipped in thebathroom and fell" Raghu kaka told
"It doesnt seem like that....am sure someone hit him" he told gravely
Raghu kaka and Anish excahnged looks
"Please doctor just tell that he is fine" Anish pleaded
"Yes...he is fine...its good that you did first aid otherwise there would have been heavy blood loss" he told
They both heaved a sigh of relief.
'Hmmm...my fees would be one lakh rupees" he demanded
"That is too much" Anish shouted
"Listen young man...that is the payment to keep my mouth shut or you could land up in jail in case I open my mouth" doctor smirked
Raghu kaka went to the locker room and took out the money and gave him.
"Dont let your parents know. come lets drop him home. You can tell that he slipped and fell" Raghu kaka suggested
They both just put him in the car and drove off.
Anish rang the bell of his house. His parents had been worried for him
"What happened Anish" Dev's father questioned in fright
"Nothing major uncle..he just slipped in the bathroom and fell" he told
"Oh God..my son..my son" his mom started crying
"Nothing to worry aunty...here just take these medicines" and they both left
Meanwhile at Shivani's residence
"Good job beta....seems that he is completely into you now" her mom smiled at her
Shivani had that look of victory in her eyes. Slowly and steadily she was reaching her goal.
