Dev accompanied Shivani to the police station.
She was still shivering with that incident.
"Sir we are here to file a complaint" he told
"Hmmm...bolo kya hai" a constable told
"Today morning 2 guys tried to misbehave with her" he told
"Bus bus itni angrezi nahi aati manne" he told
He explained everything in hindi.
"Acha madam aap batao..dekha tha unko" he asked
"aapko pehle hi bola wo helmet pehne the" he replied angrily
"Tu kyun phudak raha hai ladke" he told
Dev controlled his anger.
Just then the sub inspector entered.
Seeing them he asked
"Have you come from Paddar College"
"Yes sir" Dev responded
"Please come inside. i got a call from your principal" he instructed
The constable understood that it must be something important
"Sahab ko kuch na bataiyo' he requested
Dev just looked at him angrily..put his arms on her shoulder and told
"Come Betu..lets go"
She didnt budge from her place.
"I know it is difficult but we can't just let them go. You need to be strong" saying so he just held her hand firmly and took her inside
"Ma'am I know it is difficult but if you can remember and tell us everything you can" he told
She tried to think and told
"I was going to the college. I was near the bus stop....I noticed Anish but he did not see me" she told
'Anish...but he told that he came that time" Dev told confused
"Who is Anish" asked the inspector
"He is our friend" dev replied
"Then what happened" asked the inspector
"I was going towards him but then he didnt go inside the college gate...instead he walked to the opposite side and I was looking at him. Just then the bike came from front and those guys tried to touch me" she started crying
The inspector asked to bring glass of water.
"If Anish was there why didn't he help" thought Dev
"Ok ma'am we shall see the cctv footage and try to find out. You please take care" saying so the inspector asked them to leave
Dev just put his hands on her shoulder, booked an Ola cab and went to drop her home.
Once they reached home, he rang the doorbell
"Mummy" saying so she started crying
Her mom was frightened seeing her like this.
Dev calmed her down and narrated the whole incident.
"We shall not leave them beta" she told comforting her daughter
She started crying all the more seeing her mother's support.
Dev felt happy that her mother was with her.
He left from there but the thing was going on his mind that if Anish was there only why did he lie.
He headed straight to his home.
As usual Raghu kaka opened the door.
"Baba is not at home" he told dev
"Ok kaka. I will wait for him" saying so he went inside
