Raghavendra stepped into Shergill Mansion, greeted by the comforting sight of his family gathered in the hall, engaged in light chatter.

A smile graced his lips as he observed Manyata, her laughter mingling with the familiar voices of his loved ones.

Oh, how he wished he could be the one to bring that smile to her face, yet he knew too well the barriers that stood between them.

She always seemed so guarded, so burdened with unspoken sorrow whenever they were together, and it weighed heavily on his heart.

Chandrika noticed Raghavendra lingering at the entrance and teased him

Chandrika: Raghav, vaha kyun khada hai? Tera hi ghar hai.

He shook his head at his dadi's playful remark, the warmth of their banter filling the air as the others joined in with giggles.

Excusing himself, Raghavendra made his way to his room to change.

The refreshing cascade of water from the shower washed away the weariness of the day, and he emerged feeling rejuvenated.

As he entered his study, he found Manyata and Aniket engrossed in conversation, a flicker of annoyance igniting within him at the sight of her smiling at his friend.

Though he knew Aniket regarded Manyata as a sister, jealousy still gnawed at him, a sentiment he refused to acknowledge.

Raghavendra: What are you doing here?

He asked tersely, his gaze lingering on Manyata before shifting to Aniket.

Aniket: (met his gaze steadily) Boss, I've sent the evidences to the police department against Rohan

He informed.

Raghavendra: (nodded in approval) Good job

He acknowledged, and Aniket returned the nod.

Manyata: Thank you, Mr. Shergill

She expressed her gratitude.

Raghavendra: No need. Meri wajah se tum iss mess mein ho, toh mera farz tha ki main tumhe iss mess mein nikalu.

She nodded silently before excusing herself from his study.

As the days passed, their routine remained unchanged, their interactions kept strictly professional.

Despite the passage of three months since their marriage, the emotional distance between them remained palpable.

Manyata struggled to conceal her feelings, while Raghavendra fought to keep his own emotions at bay, determined not to repeat past mistakes.

One day, Raghavi sought out Raghavendra in their room, intending to discuss an important business matter.

Finding it empty, she assumed he must be in his study.
