Aiah's POV

Namimigay parin kami ng flyers dito sa cafeteria nang biglang lumapit sakin ang isa sa officers naming hinihingal sa pagtakbo papunta rito.

"A..ah..Ate Aiah--"

"Yes Topher?"

"Si Gab at Warren nagsusuntukan sa court. Sinubukan na naming awatin Ate pero wala kaming nagawa. May dala pong patalim si Gab Ate." Sumbong nito sakin na parang maiiyak na sa takot.

"Okay, call the guards or police b-basta call someone who can help." Sabi ko at nagmadali nang tumakbo papunta sa court.

Sasaksakin na sana ni Gab si Warren when I screamed,

"Stop!."

At natahimik lahat ng mga tao sa court, makikitang kahit teachers takot na takot.

I slowly walked near them,

"Gab please, put the weapon down." I calmly told him kahit yung totoo parang lalabas na ang puso ko sa dibdib ko sobrang kaba.

"No! This piece of sht deserves it! Inagaw nya sakin si Kathleen!." Galit na galit na sabi ni Gab.

"Gab, there has to be another way to deal with this. Di naman lahat kailangan idaan sa dahas right? Do you think Kath would like this? No. I mean, why would she choose a guy who is violent? Or perhaps mad. Pag ginawa mo to makukulong ka, di mo na sya makikita. And she will most likely find someone else, di lang si Warren. Pag ginawa mo to, you will turn yourself a monster, an unlovable one. Ayaw naman nating mangyari yun diba?. Come Gab, pag-usapan natin yan. I'll listen. Every single word, every single wound. Let's prove to Kathleen, or everyone that you're better than this." I genuinely lend my hand.

And then I saw his facial expression finally softened and it gave me some kind of relief when she handed me the knife after letting go of Warren's collar and I instantly threw it in a safe place kung san kinuha ito agad ng guards and offered the same hand to Gab.

Parang aatakihin na silang lahat sa kaba the moment he held my hand but I just gave him a genuine smile as I gently pulled him closer for a hug as I gently rubbed his back to calm him down.

"Thank you Ate Aiah. You really are the best."

I guided him to the court entrance at parang may gusto pa ata kaming pigilan but I strictly said,

"Walang susunod."

At wala na nga silang nagawa.

So, sinamahan ko nga si Gab sa may garden to listen to his rants with zero judgment.

Mayamayay may lumapit na saming police officers and I was kinda surprised to see that Gab genuinly surrendered. Looks like he is now finally taking accountability of his actions.

When they were walking away lumingon sya sakin and mouthed,

"Thank you."

And that's all I need.

Pabalik nako sa klase ko when my phone buzzed. I got a message from an unknown number.

It says,

What were you thinking? You could've died for goodness sake.

A smile slowly crept in my face as I replied,

But I didn't, G loves me that much.
