The rain was slapping against the windows of our school.
It was so loud I could barely understand my teacher.
He nearly screamed at us.
But the worst part was that the class was over and I needed to walk home.
I will catch a cold!
But I planed on having a trip with my friends over the weekend I can't get sick now.

The bell rang and told us that we can leave now.
I packed my stuff together and left the classroom.
I was one of the last leaving.
With every step I walked down the stairs my mood got worse.
Until...

"Hey y/n! How was your Presentation earlier?" A soft voice spoke behind me.
I turned around just to see my teacher standing at the top of the stairs looking at me.
"Oh, Hey miss y/ft/n! It was good I guess. I'll get my grade next week." I answered carmly.
But inside me was a firework of emotions.
I was so excited to her again.
We haven't talked in two days because she was sick.

"That sounds amazing! It will be fine. You used to be very good in Geography and I don't see a reson why this should change." While saying this she was walking down the stairs stopping right next to me.

We locked eyes with eachother for a second but I looked away in fear she would notice my red cheeks.
My head turned in direction of the windows and her eyes followed mine.

"Horrible weather, isn't it?" She let out a sight.
"Don't complain. You Just need to walk to your car. I need to walk home." I said with a lot of sarcasm.
I felt bad for a second because it sounded very rude but she started to laugh.
I needed to laugh with her but it was true.

"Do you live far away from here?" She asked still smiling but in a comforting way.
"Around ten Minutes to walk." I answered.
"Oh dear, you will catch a cold."
She looked at me with a worried face.
There was a moment of silent between us.
You could only hear some students and teachers that haven't left yet and the rain outside.

"I will give you a ride Home." She finally said.
"Oh no, you really don't have t-"
"No complaining! I won't let you walk home in that rain." She cut me off.
The imagination of me in a car with her all alone made me nervous.

"I will just get my jacked." And with that she started walking in the direction of our teachers' room.
She stopped after some steps and turned around to face me again.
"You commin'?" She asked with her British accent.
Sometimes she just can't hide it.
"Uh yeah Sure." I frantically started walking down the rest of the steps and followed her.

While waiting for her I got more and more nervous.
Hundreds of thought were running trough my brain.
What do we talk about?
How do I get myself out of an awkward silence.
What if she plays good music am I allowed to sing?
Or would that be weird?
***
Some minutes later she came back with her jacket on talking to another teacher of mine.
"Alright see you on Monday Christoph!"
She waved at him a last time and then turned to me.

"Alright, are you ready to go?" She asked me looking directly into my eyes.
My knees got week for a second but I got myself together.
"Are you sure that you are allowed to do this. I really don't want you to get in trouble." I asked just to make sure she won't get fired because of me.
"Don't worry I won't get in trouble just don't tell anyone." She winked at me and started walking to the front door.

A secret?
I have a secret with her!
I noticed she was ahead of me so I stared running a little to catch up with her.
"So, what have you planed for the weekend?" She asked turning her head in my direction.
"I was planing to go on a little trip with some friends." I answered a little out of breath.
I was so nervous.

"Sounds amazing where are you going?" She asked interested.
"Oh, just down to the lake. One of my friends owns a camper. We will sleep there."
I tried my best to control my voice to not shake.
"I used to do stuff like this too when I was younger." She said a little lost in her thoughts and memories.
Am I supposed to tell her that she is still very young in my opinion?
Or would that sound wrong?
But my thought got cut of because we reached the front door.

"Are you ready for the rain?" She giggled while looking outside into the teachers parking lot.
"I think so. What about you?"
She turned her head to me and looked me in the eyes.
She nod and so did I.

She opened the door for us and we started walking very very fast through the rain.
The headlights of a blue car were lighting up.
I already knew wich one her car was.
I threw my bag on the back seat and sat on the passenger seat.
She sat next to me a couple of seconds later.

"Well then... let's go."
She started the car and the radio immediately started playing music.
I felt a kind of relief in my chest because music would avoid awkward silences.
Tailor swift was singing "paper rings".
I completely forgot about my worries and started singing.

"Kiss me once cause you know a had a long night. Kiss me twice cause it's gonna be alright. Three times cause I waited my whole life!"

We looked at each other and her hand turned the radio even louder before Ms y/ft/n started singing too.

"I like shiny things but I'd marry you with paper rings! Huh that's right darling you're the one I want!"

"Ok you have to tell me where to drive."
"Do you know where the police station is?"
"Yes."
"In that street."
"Aaaaalright."
And she started driving until we stopped at a traffic light.

Suddenly she turned the radio a little bit lower so she could her me better.
"Now, tell me more about your presentation. What was it about again?"
Why was she so interested in this presentation?
"The volcano eruption in la Palma. It was ok I guess. I talked ten minutes and I only got positive feedback so far."
I waited for her to answer but she didn't so I turned my head to the driver's seat.

I jumped a little seeing her already looking at me.
Her e/c eyes where looking in mine and I felt butterflies everywhere.
She looked at my lips for a second but before I could react she turned her head away again.
What was that?

The last two minutes we sat quiet next to each other.
ABBA was playing now instead of tailor swift.
Until she finally broke the silence.
"Here we are. Which is your house?"
"The white one." I pointed it out even though I knew she doesn't see me hand.

"Thank you very much! I would be soaking wet by now." I laughed a little bit.
Again there was this look.
This time it was me who looked at her lips and back.
She came slowly closer.
But she stopped some inches away from my lips.

I had goosebumps and the butterflies felt like birds.
My breath got heavier.
"Just kiss me already." I whispered against her lips.
As I told her she closed the gab between us.
She laid her warm and soft lips on top of mine.
My hand carefully moved to her chin as I felt her hand on my knee.
The kiss was soft and loving but still intense.
The moment her lips left mine I hungered for more.
But I knew it wasn't the time or the place to ask for more.

We slowly separated our faces.
Our eyes met again.
"I wanted to do this for so long." She whispered.
"Me too." I breathed out still in shock about what just happened.
We smiled at each other for a last time then I grabbed my bag and got out of the car.
I waved at her as she drove off.

The rain stopped and an amazing rainbow banned his way over the sky.
Just like the huge smile on my lips did.
