I was running as fast as my shaking legs carried me through the hallways.
Class just ended for everyone and the hallways were empty.
I only need to get up the stairs.
Her door was slightly open.
Without knocking I walked in.
Just two steps then I couldn't hold it back anymore.

I saw her head turning to me and her eyes meeting mine.
She was standing at the teachers table and sorted some papers.
The classroom was empty.
Before I could say something my view became blurry and tears started to run down my cheeks.
My legs gave in and I fell to the ground.

Arms appeared around my shoulders.
I leaned forward until my face hit her chest.
She sat herself next to me and hugged me tight.
I buried my face in the bow of her neck.
I could barely breath.
Her hand stroke over my back.

"Hush darling it's alright." She whispered in my ear.
Her words calmed me down but just a little bit.
Tears were running down my face right in her shirt.

We stayed like this for some minutes.
It just hurts so good to be close to her.
Her hand stroke slowly over my head.
She nearly combed my hair with her fingers but it was calming.
"Do you wanna talk about it?"
I jumped a little bit as I heard her voice out of the blue.

I lifted my head slowly and our eyes met immediately.
You could tell she felt sorry seeing me like this.
I carefully shook my head while looking at my fingers.

"That's fine. But I think you know that in my oppinion it's important for you to talk to someone if you are not feeling well. It doesn't have to be me. But you know- you can always talk to me." She spoke quiet but I heard her clearly.

"Yes I know. Thank you." I wasn't sure if she heard me because it was more a whisper.
"There's no need to thank me y/n. I just want to make sure that you are ok because I care about you."

I lifted my head and she looked me directly in the eyes.
She cupped my face in her hands wiping away some tears with her thumb.
Her hands are so warm and soft.
"I really appreciate that." My voice broke even more.

She winked at me and pulled me in into another long and warm hug.
I took a deep breath.
She smelled like coffee.
The great bell rang to tell us lunch break just started.

Here we sit in the middle of her classroom on the floor hugging each other.
It was a tough week and I don't know what I would do without her.
I know she is my teacher but I never felt like this for anyone.

An: like I said they are rather short but I hope I can write a lot of them from time to time.
