Michael and Oriana opted to stretch out their wedding over the course of 3–4 days, with multiple events occurring within that time frame.
On Saturday, Micheal and Oriana's wedding week started with a welcome party to kick off the weekend.
The welcome party was a way to get people into the festive mood, being able to personally greet their guests as they arrived, and also gave them a chance to introduce people who haven't met before now.

A look inside power couple Michael B Jordan and Oriana Edinburgh's ultra-private Montecito wedding
Just four days before they quietly picked up a marriage license in Santa Monica., Michael B Jordan and Oriana Edinburgh, attended the New York city wedding of Ivy Snow. Although they betrayed no sign of their own impending nuptials, "they seemed very much a couple in love," says the wedding planner, Lisa McGraw. "They held hands and were all smiles." Michael was all grins again on April 7 while with an all-guy crew at the 40/40 lounge in Manhattan.
On April 11 Oriana and Michael exchanged top-secret vows and celebrated with a close circle of 40 friends and family members who gathered at a private estate in Montecito, California.
"It was a very emotional wedding—lots of crying—and really very spiritual," says a guest. The couple, adding a source close to them, "planned it perfectly."
The vows were a streamlined affair, with Kelly Rowland serving as maid of honor and Michael's brother, Khalid as best man.
Then it was time to party. A white tent was erected on a basketball-court, "it looked like a palace," says florist Amy Vongpitaka, who had 70,000 white dendrobium orchids flown in from Thailand. "It was a really pure, white wedding." Adds another source: "It was just beautiful. Gorgeous. Opulent."
During the reception, "everyone danced to a lot of hip-hop and oldies, including Jackson 5 and Whitney Houston," says a guest, with the party carrying on until nearly 5 in the morning. Adds another source: "There was a first dance, and it was extremely emotional and beautifully orchestrated.
Now three days after he and Oriana said "I do," he is showing off his newlywed status. When congratulated on his news, he responded with a laugh, "I'm somebody's husband now."
Oriana has given fans her first glimpse of the wedding dress she wore. In a picture posted, Oriana poses in the stunning off-the-shoulder lace gown completed by an extra-long train that stretched out and is standing on a lawn cuddling Michael.
Oriana wore a dress from the line's Victorian Affinity collection. She paired the gown with a dramatically long veil, while Michael suited up in a white tux. "Oriana," says a source, "looked beautiful."
Oriana's gown was reportedly inspired by the wedding dress worn by Queen Victoria.
