Lady Dimitrescu's Little One

chapter 13

Helene POV

I was bored.... Really really bored, uncle Heisenberg had left after a week, that's how long I could manage to convince him to stay from his initial stay of 4 days

I had lot's of fun with him! He played with me lots, but mama also told him that he had the right to put me in the corner if he sees it fit

He only had to do it twice because mama was sitting in front of us, other than that it had been amazing and I miss him, well more like I miss having a play buddy

"Mama pway?" I asked hopefully looking up from my spot in front of the fireplace in the library, the spot that mama made me for me with soft carpet and some of my toys placed around it

Next to my little area in mama's room, this was my second favorite place in the house, and the worst place? Umm probably the basement or cellar as mama and my sister's call it, under no condition am I supposed to go down there

but I mean who in the right sense of mind would want to! The door looks ancient and it gives me a creepy vibe even glancing towards it

"Not right now baby girl, play quietly with your toys mama can play with you in a bit" Mama said, not even sparing a glance towards me her eyes fixated towards the stack of papers in her hand making me frown and pout

Mama still payed no attention to me, her eyes furrowed and reading what was in the paper intently, I pouted a bit more until without realising tears started to trickle down my eyes

I looked away from mama, curling up on the mat, I pulled the stuffie next to me close to my chest which just so happened to be Rawr, he always knows how to make me feel better

I sniffled a little softly before curling tighter and closing my eyes, my thumb firmly set in my mouth, if mama wasn't gonna talk to me, I wasn't gonna talk to mama too

Lady Dimitrescu POV

I was busy reading the documents that mother Miranda had sent to me regarding the ceremony, it was important for me to know and remember all the details accurately

My baby girl wanted to play with me, she's been upset since Heisenberg left, the little butterfly managed to convinced him to stay for a whole week, only managing to go away when he promised he'll be back soon and he'll get her a baby hammer to match with him

She was extremely delighted by that idea and readily let him go as he had to 'work' on making her hammer for next time, watching those two together had been adorable, I never knew he could be so soft...  But then again no one expects me to be soft either

After going through all the documents with a close eye, I was satisfied and I looked up noticing the lack of noise in the library, usually my little one is busy babbling to herself or talking with one of her stuffies Or even reading out some books to the best that she could of course

She was curled up on the play mat that was her spot in the library, her precious dino tucked under her chin and she was clutching him close to her chest

What broke my heart were the year tracks on her cheek, clearly something had upset her enough to make her cry

I sighed softly and scooped her up, placing my hand under her bottom to keep her comfortable in my arms with her head on my shoulder and rawr hidden between us

I kissed the top of her head gently, a smile making it's way to my face as she subconsciously nuzzled deeper into my neck and slept peacefully

She can nap a little and we can talk over lunch regarding what upset her, I laid her in the middle of my bed tucking the decorative pillows in a way so she couldn't roll off

I made sure that Rawr was still in her arms, it was quite hot in my room because of the heating system, I gently removed her pants and made sure her pull up was dry before covering her with a thin cotton blanket

She didn't even twitch when I tucked her, only whining slightly when I pulled out her thumb and tucked in her paci instead   but settled back instantly

Deciding to spend some time with my little one, I layed down beside her propping my body on one elbow and watched her sleep peacefully, my hand gently patting her chest and tummy, enjoying the content look on her face as she slept

Yep, she definitely has my heart stolen just like my other girls, I'll protect her and keep her safe from everything

I apologize for the lack of updates! I had a little too much going on with me which didn't leave me with time to update, but here is a new chapter ! !

Also this book will be ending in 2 more chapters, thank you for everyone who's taken the time to read this

But as you all know, one book ends and the next one begins, I have some ideas planned out for the next book that I'm going to write, it's going to about age regression as well (you'll get more information about this in the next chapter)
