Lady Dimitrescu's Little One

chapter 8

Helene POV

Mama carried me down to the kitchen talking softly to me and bouncing me gently in her arms, I squealed every time mama booped my nose when she would see me looking around in the halls

"Daughter's your sister is awake" Mama spoke softly entering the dinning room where Cassandra, Daniela and Bela were already seated

"Hello little sister" Cassandra was the first one to greet me, making me smile and wave excitedly at her

"What's for breakfast today?" I heard mama ask softly as she sat down with me on her lap and all the dishes were already set on the table covered with the steel lids

"Umm it's the usual for us, and fruits and waffles for the baby sister, I read somewhere that littles enjoy that and I had one of the cooks make it" Dani said making me look up at her as she had come near mama's chair to ruffle my hair softly and sat at her own seat

I clapped my hands excitedly as mama lifted the lid from the plate in front of me and in front of me stood the deliciousness by the name of waffles and fruits? I think that's what Dani said, it also had honey over it! And I absolutely love honey

"Fank you Dani!" I squealed happily and looked up at mama for a brief second waiting for mama to nod and as soon as she did I dug into my food, using the small plastic fork that was placed in front of me I happily ate the yummy breakfast

It was only after my plate finished that I Realised that mama and my sisters were not eating the same food,  instead they were eating something completely different that had red sauce all over it?

"Mama was that" I asked softly, watching as mama turned a little stiff and looked at me with a slightly shocked face

"That's um meat baby, me and your sister's need to eat that to survive, you know we are not humans right little bug?" Mama asked softly playing with the ends of my hair and making me nod softly as I tilted my head to look up at her

Well I did knew that mama and my sisters were not human.... I mean it's not exactly hard to figure out they are 11ft tall with deep red hair, I put the two and two together

"Such a smart girl you are my little one" Mama cooed softly as she rubbed my tummy with her left hand and finished her breakfast with her right as I cuddled right up to her

"Do you wanna play little sister?" Cassandra asked me exited, making me perk up and nod my head rapidly "now you may go and play sweetheart, but you three make sure you take extra care of your little sister she's a lot more fragile than us and I don't want her getting hurt, is that understood?" Mama spoke in a stern voice making me squirm on her lap and nod

Lady Dimitrescu POV

After a little bickering from my older daughters they had settled on a game of UNO it was a card game which was played with numbers and colours a little different than the games played with traditional playing cards

It was easy enough for the little one to understand she seemed to be a little bit older today, she named all the colours correctly and only messed up the numbers a few times which was okay and all her sisters were more than happy to help her correct them

I went over the rules again since bela and Daniela seemed to have confused a few of them together which almost resulted in a fight

"Mama play too?" Helene asked softly looking up at me from where all four of them had decided to sit in the middle of the library near the fire place spread out in a circle

"I'll just watch this time bug, but I can come sit with you if you want sweetheart?" I replied softly, adding the last part after her face fell when I said no

"Es pwease pwesse!" She smiled happily and excitedly climbed up on my lap as soon as I was seated on the floor

"Now all four of you play nicely and no cheating" I said softly wrapping on arm around my baby's tummy to hold her in place

Holding her is like a whole different feeling, the smell of her baby shampoo mixed with baby powder is just so calming and having my arms around her tiny body just makes me realise how fragile and tiny she really is, and how much I need to protect her no matter what

The game went along pretty good, Helene was a good player after all and she only messed up twice but I was more than happy to help her which made her really happy

It was at the last ends of the game Cassandra and Daniela had 2 cards each and Bela and Helene were down to their last card and it was Cassandra's turn

All of a sudden there was a crash on the left side of the library making all heads turn towards that side and there stood a lycan with his disgusting figure and bloody hands and face

I pulled Helene closer to me watching in a second how her face turned into my body and sobs started to come from her tiny baby "Bela take your sister to my room I'll see you in a bit" I spoke softly

I didn't wait for a response, handed Helene to Bela and marched towards the lycan taking out my claws, I waited till I heard the soft click of the door and ripped the thing appart, how dare he enter my house and scare my baby

Now that my focus was not on the disgusting creature, I could hear my baby cry all the way to the library... My baby needed me, hearing her cry I felt a small pain on my boob, I looked at both my daughter's and nodded, they knew what they had to do

I exited the library and sped walk to my room, when my heart if I ever believed I had one, broke at the sight of my little one

I apologize for not updating last week, but Happy New Year to everyone!
